Povzetek

Namen diplomskega dela je bil predstaviti pomen tehnike prekrivanja plodov pečkarjev, ugotoviti vpliv prekrivanja na kakovost, barvo in okus, maso in velikost ploda, poškodbe plodov ter ostanke pesticidov na plodovih, predstaviti vpliv različnih tipov vrečk in materiala za prekrivanje plodov na rezultate, in stroške prekrivanja plodov. Prekrivanje plodov izboljša krovno barvo kožice ob primernih vremenskih razmerah, poveča se vsebnost sladkorjev in posledično se izboljša tudi okus. Dlje časa kot je sadje prekrito z vrečkami, manjše so dimenzije in masa plodov. Primerjava med leti je pokazala, da ima velik vpliv na velikost plodov tudi količina padavin in sonca. Ob prekrivanju plodov z vrečkami na plodovih ni več poškodb, ki bi jih naredile ptice in vremenski pojavi, prav tako je zmanjšan pojav poškodb plodov od bolezni. Ob uporabi vrečk ni ostankov pesticidov na plodovih in so primerni za zaužitje že ob rahlem spiranju z vodo. Pri raziskovanju, kateri material je najboljši za prekrivanje plodov, so ugotovili, da so najboljše papirnate vrečke bele ali rumene barve.

Sekundarni povzetek: The purpose of our graduation thesis was to present fruit bagging of pome fruits and to find out impact of bagging on quality, colour and taste, weight and size of fruit, damage on fruit, the content of pesticide residues, to show the influence of the different types of bags and material, which was used and what are the costs of bagging. Bagging improves cover colour at suitable weather conditions, the amount of sugar increases, consequently the taste also improves. The longer the fruit was covered with bags, smaller was dimension and weight of fruit. A comparison between years has shown that the amount of precipitation and sun has a large influence on fruit size. When fruit is bagged there is less injuries that would have been caused by birds and weather events and the amount of disease has also decreased. It was found, when bags are used, that there are no pesticide residues on the fruits and we can eat it by gently washing with water. When researching which material is best for bagging, it was found that the best are white and yellow paper bags.
