Povzetek
V diplomskem delu smo predstavili prehrano psov z alergijo. Opisali smo nastanek in razvoj alergij ter opisali možne povzročitelje. Predstavili smo, kako prepoznati alergijsko reakcijo pri psih in kako le-ta vpliva na telo. Opisali smo negativne reakcije, ki nastanejo zaradi vnašanja antigenov v telo, in kako zmanjšati znake alergij. Selektivna prehrana psov z alergijami je ključna pri zmanjšanju alergijskih reakcij, kot so dermatološke in gastrološke težave. Alergijsko reakcijo lahko omejimo tudi z doma pripravljeno krmo, vendar se moramo izogibati snovi, ki bi bile lahko vzrok za alergijsko reakcijo. Pregledali smo nekaj komercialno pripravljenih krmnih mešanic za pse z alergijo in nekoliko bolj opisali in pregledali štiri mešanice. Pri pregledu posameznih komponent, prisotnih v krmi, smo ugotovili, da vsebujejo žita, ki so lahko vir alergenov, npr. gluten. Ugotovili smo, da so večinoma viri beljakovin hidrolizirni, saj so tako bolj prebavljivi in je manjša možnost za nastanek alergij. Kot vir esencialnih nenasičenih n-3 in n-6 maščobnih kislin sta v nekaterih mešanicah dodana ogrščično in ribje olje. Pri primerjavi kemijske sestave štirih komercialno pripravljenih krmnih mešanic različnih proizvajalcev, ki so namenjene psom z znaki alergije na krmo, v kemijski sestavi ni bistvenih razlik in vse krmne mešanice so bile v okviru NRC-normativov.

In the thesis, we presented the nutrition of the dogs with food allergies. We have described the emergence and development of allergies and described potential pathogens. We presented how to recognize an allergic reaction in dogs and how it affects the body. We have described negative reactions that the introduction of antigens cause to the body and how to reduce the signs of allergyes. Selective nutrition of dogs with allergies is crucial in reducing severe dermatological and gastrological allergic reactions. The allergic reaction can also be limited to home-made feed, but we have to avoid substances that could be the cause of an allergic reaction. We examined some commercially prepared feed mixtures for dogs with allergys and described and examined 4 blends. When examining the individual components present in the feed, it was found that they contain cereals which can be a source of allergens, e.g. gluten. We found that protein sources are mostly hydrolyzed, since they are much more digestible and are less likely to cause allergies. As a source of essential unsaturated n-3 and n-6 fatty acids, some mixtures add rape and fish oils. When comparing the chemical composition of 4 commercially prepared feed mixtures, of different producers, intended for dogs with signs of allergy to feed. There are no significant differences in the chemical composition and all compound feedingstuffs were within the NRC norms. |
