Povzetek

Tema magistrskega dela izhaja iz realne potrebe po novih prostorih glasbene šole v Ljutomeru. V teoretskem in projektnem delu sta zasnovani in primerjalno obravnavani dve arhitekturni rešitvi sodobne glasbene šole na dveh alternativnih lokacijah: prenova trške stavbe nekdanje glasbene šole s prizidavo (lokacija A) in izgradnja novega objekta ob Domu kulture (lokacija B). Prostorski in programski intervenciji sta zasnovani s pomočjo strateških oblikovalskih pristopov k obstoječim stavbam, kot so vstavek, ovoj, parazit, jukstapozicija in preplet. Alternativni zasnovi ponujata racionalno izrabo prostora in v čim večji meri izkoristita potencial lokacij z namenom prostorskih izboljšav. Na lokaciji A se s celovito arhitekturno rešitvijo razširitve s prizidkom dvorane in prostorske organizacije v obstoječi stavbi vzpostavi kvalitetna programska vsebina, ki prispeva k ohranjanju trškega jedra. Jasna konceptualna zasnova nove glasbene šole na lokaciji B ob Domu kulture pa sloni na introvertirani ideji vertikalnega atrija ter nanj navezanih programov, ki hkrati z minimalnim posegom poveže novi del z obstoječim in omogoča sinergijsko uporabnost celote. Obe variantni rešitvi prispevata k prostorski identiteti Ljutomera z namenom izboljšanja možnosti za kulturne dejavnosti v mestu.

Sekundarni povzetek: The theme of this master thesis derives from the existing need for new music school premises in Ljutomer. In the theoretical and project part, two architectural solutions for a modern music school on two alternative locations were designed and compared: the renovation of the town building of the former music school with an extension (location A) and the construction of a new building next to the Ljutomer Culture Centre (location B). The spatial and program interventions are designed with the help of strategic design approaches to the existing buildings such as inserting, wrapping, parasitizing, juxtaposing and weaving. The alternative designs offer a rational use of space and maximize the potential of locations for the purpose of spatial improvement. At location A, with a comprehensive architectural solution in the form of a hall extension and spatial organization in the existing building, a quality program content is created which contributes to the preservation of the core of the town building. The clear conceptual design of the new music school next to the Culture Centre is based on the introverted idea of a vertical atrium and attached programs, which simultaneously connect the new part with the existing one using only minimal intervention, and provide the synergistic usability of the whole. Both solutions contribute to the spatial identity of Ljutomer with the aim to improve the possibilities for cultural activities in the city.
