Povzetek

Kategorizacija je bistven element pri odločanju kakovosti hotela in je prvi faktor,na podlagi katerega lahko gost predvidevakakovost storitev glede na svoja pričakovanja. Pojem kategorije hotelov se pri vsakem posamezniku odraža drugače.V praksi lahko opazimo, da obstajajo razlike med hoteli iste kategorije. Prav zaradi tega je poznavanje kategorizacije in kakovosti storitev pomembno za hotelirje in goste. V empiričnem delu smo raziskali, kako hotelirji in gostje razumejo kategorizacijo hotela in kako povezujejo kategorijo hotelov s kakovostjo hotelskih storitev v regiji Posavje.Raziskava je pokazala, da je potrebno spremeniti oz. posodobiti sistem in povečati pozornost pri izvajanju funkcionalne storitve, saj se ta hitreje pomni in je za goste pomembnejša. Z lansko novo uvedbo kategorizacije, imenovane Hotelstars, smo dobili zagotovilo kakovosti na mednarodni ravni in s tem tudi boljšo prihodnost v hotelirstvu.

Sekundarni povzetek: Categorization is an essential element in deciding the quality of the hotel and is the first factor on the basis of which the guest can anticipate the quality of services according to their expectations. The concept of a category of hotels is reflected differently in each individual. In practice, we can notice that there are differences between hotels of the same category. This is why knowledge of categorization and quality of services is important for hotel guests. In the empirical part, we investigated how hotel management and guests understand the categorization of the hotel and how they connect the category of hotels with the quality of hotel services in the Posavje region. The research showed that it is necessary to change or to modernize the system and to increase the attention in the implementation of the functional service, since it becomes more memorable and more important for guests. With last year's introduction of the categorization called Hotelstars, we have got a quality assurance on the international level and with that a better future in the hotel industry.
