Povzetek

Tehnologija interneta stvari še zdaleč ni popolnoma razvita. Internet stvari je že prisoten v našem vsakdanjem življenju, predvsem s pametnimi mobilnimi telefoni in drugimi pametnimi napravami. Poleg tega pa se uporablja tudi že v gospodarstvu v obliki tehnologije RFID in senzorjev. Primanjkujejo predvsem standardi, ki bi pripomogli k večji in lažji implementaciji. Medtem ko podjetja skrbita pomanjkanje znanja in visoka cena, potrošniki še vedno ne zaupajo tej tehnologiji, saj menijo, da primanjkuje predvsem varnosti in zasebnosti. Kljub tem pomislekom glede interneta stvari pa ima ta tako dobre kot tudi slabe lastnosti uporabe. Prihodnost interneta stvari je svetla, saj države vlagajo v njegov razvoj, vendar pa je potrebnega še veliko časa, da bo ta tehnologija uporabljena množično po vsem svetu, predvsem v obliki pametnih mest, pametnega gospodarstva in transporta, kot tudi pametnega življenja ljudi, ki bodo globoko povezani s tehnologijo interneta stvari.

Sekundarni povzetek:	The internet of things is far from fully developed. Internet of things is already present in our every day life, especially with smart phones and other smart devices. The technology is already in use in economy and industrial plants mainly in forms of RFID technology and sensors. It lacks standards which would contribute to a more broad and easy implementation. While companies are concered with lack of knowledge and high prices of internet of things, the consumers still do not trust this technology. They are of an opinion that the internet of things mainly lacks security and privacy. Despite all the concerns with the internet of things, the technology has good and bad properties of its use. The future of the internet of things is bright, countries invest in its developement although there is still a lot of work needed in order for the technology to be widely used around the whole world, mainly as smart grids/cities, smart economy and transport as well as smart life of people who will be deeply intertwined with the technology of interent of things.
