Povzetek

Glavni namen magistrskega dela je predstaviti program jahanja v šoli v naravi, sodelovanje otrok s konji in različne vsebine v sklopu posameznega programa. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili najpomembnejša sklopa jahanje in šolo v naravi, kar predstavlja uvod v praktični del. V praktičnem delu smo realizirali glavni namen magistrskega dela. Podrobneje smo predstavili program jahanja v šoli v naravi in sodelovanje otrok s konji. Program je bil opisan po korakih, znotraj katerih so podrobneje opisane dejavnosti jahanja za vsak dan posebej. Izveden je bil dvodnevni program jahanja, ki je potekal na Centru šolskih in obšolskih dejavnosti Škorpijon. V empiričnem delu je bil osnovni namen dobiti povratne informacije o izvedbi programa jahanja od učencev. Informacije smo dobili s kratko anketo z vprašanji odprtega tipa. Ugotovili smo, da so bili učenci s programom jahanja zelo zadovoljni. Zapomnili so si veliko zanimivosti o konjih, usvojili so jahalne osnove, naučili so se pravilnega pristopa h konju. Podrobneje so opisali naloge, ki so jih izvajali s konji, in našteli ugotovitve, ki so jim ostale najbolj v spominu. Pri programu jahanja v večini ne bi ničesar spremenili. Program je učencem ponudil raznolike naloge, delo s konji pa jim je vzbudilo še večjo motivacijo pri opravljanju z njimi.

Sekundarni povzetek: The master's thesis presents outdoor education horseback riding programs, children's engagement with horses and a variety of content within a riding program. The theoretical part introduces the two central parts of the thesis - horseback riding and outdoor education. These two central parts serve as an introduction to the practical part of the thesis. In the practical part, the main purpose of this master's thesis is realised. The outdoor education riding program and children's engagement with horses are extensively presented. Furthermore, the riding program is introduced in stages, which describe, in detail, the daily horseback riding activities. Therefore, at the Curricular and extracurricular activities centre Škorpijon in Slovenia, a two day horseback riding program was executed. In the empirical part of this master's thesis, the main purpose is to get feedback of the students about the riding program. Consequently, a short survey with open-ended questions was conducted; the survey shows that the students were satisfied with the program. For example, the students remembered interesting facts about horses, learned horseback riding techniques and acquired knowledge on how to properly approach a horse. The students described in detail the tasks they performed with horses. Moreover, the children listed the significant and memorable findings. In short, the students would not change anything about the riding program. In conclusion, the horseback riding program offered the students various tasks; and as a result working with horses gave them motivation in accomplishing these tasks.
