Povzetek
Namen magistrskega dela je raziskati stališča in ocene učiteljev ter študentov razrednega pouka do: odkrivanja nadarjenih učencev, dela z nadarjenimi učenci ter usposobljenosti za delo z nadarjenimi učenci. Zanimalo nas je predvsem, ali obstajajo razlike med učitelji in študenti. Pri vzorcu učiteljev smo želeli preveriti tudi, ali obstajajo razlike glede na delovno dobo v vzgoji in izobraževanju ter glede na okolje šole, na kateri poučujejo. V raziskavi so sodelovali študentje razrednega pouka Pedagoške fakultete Univerze v Mariboru, in sicer 1. letnik 2. bolonjske stopnje ter učitelji 4. in 5. razredov iz več različnih osnovnih šol po Sloveniji. Skupaj je sodelovalo 115 oseb, od tega 63 učiteljev ter 52 študentov. Uporabili smo deskriptivno in kavzalno ne eksperimentalno metodo empiričnega pedagoškega raziskovanja. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo anonimnega anketnega vprašalnika. Obdelali smo jih s statističnim programom SPSS, rezultate pa prikazali tabelarično. Uporabili smo naslednje metode: frekvenčna distribucija spremenljivk (f, f %); Mann-Whitneyev U-preizkus ter Kruskal-Wallisov H-preizkus. Ugotovili smo, da obstajajo razlike med stališči učiteljev in stališči študentov razrednega pouka do odkrivanja in dela z nadarjenimi učenci. Učitelji imajo več prakse in znanja o delu z nadarjenimi učenci kot študenti. Poznajo postopke in faze odkrivanja nadarjenih, poznajo različne oblike dela z njimi ter se počutijo dovolj usposobljene. Medtem ko študenti žal še nimajo dovolj prakse in znanja o delu z nadarjenimi ter se ne počutijo usposobljene v takšni meri kot učitelji. Bistvenih razlik glede na leta delovnih izkušenj v vzgoji in izobraževanju ter glede na okolje šole pri učiteljih nismo ugotovili.

The purpose of the master's thesis was to research the attitudes and the assessments of teachers and students of primary teacher education programme towards: discovering gifted pupils, working with gifted pupils, and the ability to work with gifted pupils. We were particularly interested in whether there are any differences between teachers and students. With a sample of teachers, we also wanted to survey whether there are differences in terms of length of years of service in education, and the environment of the school where they are teaching. The study included students of primary teacher education programme of the Faculty of Education at University of Maribor, namely first year of postgraduate studies, and 4th and 5th grade teachers from several different primary schools in Slovenia. Altogether, 115 people participated, of which there were 63 teachers and 52 students. We used descriptive and causal non-experimental methods of empirical pedagogical research. We obtained the data using an anonymous questionnaire. We processed them with the SPSS statistical program, and the results were presented in tabular form. We used the following methods: frequency distribution of variables (f, f %); Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test. We established that there are differences between teachers' attitudes and attitudes of students of primary teacher education programme towards discovering and working with gifted pupils. Teachers have more practice and knowledge of working with talented pupils than students. They know the processes and phases of discovering gifted pupils, they know the different forms of working with them, and feel well-qualified. Unfortunately, students do not yet have enough practice and knowledge of working with gifted people and do not feel qualified to the same extent as teachers. We did not find any significant differences according to years of work experience in education and in terms of the school environment with teachers. |
