Spremembe na področju družinskega življenja

izkušnja materinstva in materinjenja skozi primerjavo dveh kohort

Povzetek

Vloga in razumevanje žensk sta se v zadnjih nekaj desetletjih močno spremenila in se še vedno spreminjata. S tem pa se spreminjata tudi vloga in izkušnja žensk z materinstvom in materinjenjem. Cilj magistrskega dela je bil raziskati in predstaviti družbene spremembe na področju materinstva v razponu dveh generacij, kakšne izkušnje imajo z materinstvom ženske, ki pripadajo določeni starostni kohorti, in kako se te izkušnje razlikujejo od izkušenj njihovih hčera. Gre za kvalitativno raziskovanje, saj ostaja glavni vir informacij pripoved žensk o svojih izkušnjah materinstva in njihovo subjektivno videnje celotnega raziskovalnega področja. V teoretičnem delu predstavim nekaj najpomembnejših družbenih sprememb, ki so vplivale na družinsko življenje in njegovo dinamiko, predstavim tudi ključne, "naravne" vloge žensk, ki se ohranjajo kljub tem spremembam, in kako močno je v samem bistvu družbeno konstruirano materinstvo. V raziskovalnem delu predstavim zgodbe intervjuvank, ki s svojim pripovedovanjem pokažejo, kako močno zakoreninjena je ideja o materinstvu kot naravno dani vlogi žensk in kako močno ukoreninjene ostajajo strukturne razlike glede na spol. Intervjuvanke s svojim pripovedovanjem pokažejo, da se je materinstvo v svojem bistvu, kljub številnim spremembam, ki so vplivale na različne segmente družinskega življenja, najmanj spremenilo.

Sekundarni povzetek:	The role and understanding of women in the past few decades have greatly changed and is still changing. With this it also changes the role and experience of women with motherhood and maternity. The aim of this paper was to explore and present the social changes in the area of motherhood inside the span of two generations, what kind of maternity experience have women belonging to a specific age cohort, and how these experiences vary with the experience of their daughters. This paper is a qualitative research, since the main source of information remains narrative of women about their experiences of mothering and their subjective vision of this research field. In the theoretical part I present some of the most important social changes that have affected the family life and its dynamics, also introduce the key, "natural" roles of women, who maintain very important in spite of this changes, and how strongly socially constructed motherhood is in the very essence of women’s life. In the research work I present the stories of the interviewed women, who through their telling show how strongly rooted is the idea of maternity as a naturally placed in the role of women, and particularly how deeply rooted remain structural differences that regard to sex. Interviewed woman with their telling and stories show that despite the many changes that have affected the different segments of family life, motherhood have changed the least.
