Sekundarni povzetek: Palliative care is largely a rather unknown concept, which in itself has great significance, even in a person who suffers from an incurable disease, and to which end of life he is inexorably approaching. People around us are well-known concepts of euthanasia and help in suicide. We know that euthanasia is lawfully prohibited in our country, although in recent years there has been a lot of talk about the fact that it is possible that it is high time for it to be legalized and thus to end life for people who suffer from an extremely difficult and incurable disease and literally dying in heavy trouble. At the same time, it is important to take into consideration family and family who suffer with the patient and observe his suffering in helplessness. Palliative care, as the contrary of euthanasia, keeps the patient with an incurable disease the best possible quality of life and provides assistance to his followers during illness, dying and mourning.
