Povzetek
Uvod: Uživanje prepovedanih drog je razširjen fenomen, ki zajema telesno, duševno in
socialno blagostanje odvisnega ter njegove okolice. Ni samo razvada ali način življenja,
ampak je kronična bolezen, ki spremeni tako delovanje kot zgradbo možganov.
Stigmatiziranje se najpogosteje pojavlja pri osebah z duševnimi motnjami in pri osebah,
odvisnih od prepovedanih drog. V sodobnem času velja stigmatizacija za nesprejemljivo,
vendar se s tem ne zmanjšuje, ampak poteka bolj prikrito. Posledično osebe, odvisne od
drog, to odvrača od iskanja pomoči v zdravstvenih ustanovah, saj pričakujejo slabšo
zdravstveno obravnavo. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je opredeliti vpliv stigme med
zaposlenimi v zdravstveni negi na zdravstveno obravnavo pacienta, odvisnega od
prepovedanih drog. Cilja diplomskega dela sta raziskati prisotnost in vpliv stigme na
zdravstveno obravnavo pacienta, odvisnega od prepovedanih drog, ter predstaviti vlogo
zaposlenih v zdravstveni negi pri destigmatizaciji v procesu zdravstvene obravnave. Metode
dela: Uporabljena je bila deskriptivna raziskovalna metoda dela s kritičnim pregledom
strokovne in znanstvene literature v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku. Članki so bili
pridobljeni s pomočjo elektronskih podatkovnih baz Medline/PubMed, CINAHL in
ScienceDirect. Rezultati: Stigmatizirajoč odnos zdravstvenih delavcev do oseb, odvisnih od
prepovedanih drog, pogosto negativno vpliva na zdravstveno oskrbo in lahko vodi do
izogibanja ali prekinitve zdravljenja. Razprava in zaključek: Temelj delovanja na področju
zmanjševanja stigme odvisnih od prepovedanih drog je osebni in terapevtski pristop
slehernega zdravstvenega delavca, ki mora biti pri nudenju zdravstvenih storitev obarvan z
visoko etično-moralno držo in osebnim zgledom.

Introduction: Use of illegal drugs is a widespread phenomenon, which coves physical,
mental and social well-being of the person who is a drug addict and also on his environment.
It is not only a disorder or a way of life, but it is a chronic disease that affects on a function
and also on the structure of the brain. Stigmatization is most commonly seen in people with
mental disorders and drug addicts. In the present time, stigmatization is considered
unacceptable, but does not decreases. As a result, stigmatization discourages drug addicts
from seeking help in healthcare, as they expect lower quality of health care. Purpose: The
purpose of the diploma work is to present the impact of stigma on the health treatment of the
patient addicted of illegal drugs from the nursing care staff, which involves investigate the
presence and impact of stigma on drug addicts during treatment and present the role of
nursing staff in destigmatization in the health care process. Methods: It was used descriptive
method of work with a critical review of domestic and foreign literature. Articles were
obained through electronic databases Medline/PubMed, CINAHL and ScienceDirect.
Results: The stigmatizing attitude of healthcare professionals towards drug addicts often has
a negative impact on health care of drug addicts and can lead to avoidance or interruption of
treatment. Discussion and conclusion: Major work on reducing drug-related stigma is the
presonal and therapeutic approach of every healthcare professional. They must have high
ethical and moral attitude and personal posture when providing health services. |
