Vpliv razvoja 3D tehnologije na delovanje distribucijskih centrov podjetja XPANDVision

Povzetek

Podjetje XPANDVision je na trgu 3D tehnologije prisotno že več kot deset let in je v svojem zrelejšem obdobju življenjskega cikla podjetja. Podjetje se ukvarja z razvojem in distribucijo 3D produktov na različne mednarodne trge. V nalogi smo raziskali trg 3D tehnologije in bodoče trende panoge, analizirali delovanje distribucijskih centrov podjetja ter kritično analizirali trenutno stanje. Glavne ugotovitve kritične analize so pomanjkanje celovitih ERP informacijskega sistema in WMS skladiščno informacijskega sistema, omejitev dostopa do skladišča s klančino, slabo planiranje dobav končnih izdelkov ter prostorska stiska in zastaranost prostorov. Ob pregledu različne literature distribucijskih centrov ter na podlagi večletnih izkušenj v praksi smo podali predloge za izboljšave delovanja distribucijskega centra v Ljubljani, ki jih lahko povzamemo kot prenovo poslovnega modela in nadgradnje ERP sistema, sanacijo in ureditev skladiščnih prostorov ter optimizacijo WMS skladiščnega sistema.

Sekundarni povzetek:	XPANDVision has been present on the 3D market for more than 10 years and is in a mature period of a company's life cycle. The company develops, manufactures and distributes 3D products to different international markets. The thesis analyses the market of 3D technology and its future trends, the performance of the company's distribution centers, and presents a critical analysis of current practices. The main findings of the critical analysis are the lack of integrated ERP and WMS systems, the limitations of access to the warehouse, poor planning of finished goods deliveries, the lack of space and the obsolescence of the warehouse space. We formed suggestions for improvements of Ljubljana's distribution centre’s performance based on a thorough overview of literature and extensive practical experiences. They can be summed up as complete renewal and upgrade of the ERP system, the restoration and arrangement of the warehouse space, and the optimization of the WMS system.
