Povzetek

Namen naše raziskave je ugotoviti, ali izobrazba katerega od staršev, ki je hkrati tudi dober pokazatelj socialno-ekonomskega položaja družine, razlaga razlike v gibalni učinkovitosti dečkov v obdobju poznega otroštva. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 185 dečkov, ki so v času meritev obiskovali četrti, peti in šesti razred različnih osnovnih šol v Sloveniji in so bili stari devet, deset in enajst let. Meritve so potekale na OŠ Podčetrtek, OŠ Rogaška Slatina, OŠ Lovrenc na Pohorju, OŠ Starše, OŠ Toneta Čufarja Maribor, OŠ Franc Rozman Stane Maribor, OŠ Šentilj in OŠ Mala Nedelja. Rezultate gibalnih sposobnosti otrok smo dobili s pomočjo testne baterije EUROFIT, s katero smo izmerili koordinacijo telesa, hitrost teka, hitrost alternativnih gibov, gibljivost, vzdržljivost, eksplozivno moč, repetitivno moč ter ravnotežje. Podatke o stopnji izobrazbe staršev in socialnem položaju družine smo pridobili z anketnim vprašalnikom o športni dejavnosti, socialnem statusu in izobrazbi, ki so ga izpolnili starši. Zbrane podatke smo obdelali z računalniškim programom SPSS Statistic 21.00 za Windows. Velikost vpliva izobrazbe staršev na gibalno učinkovitost dečkov smo ugotavljali z uporabo statistične metode - regresijske analize. Rezultati so pokazali, da izobrazba očeta in mame pomembno vpliva na gibalno učinkovitost dečkov. Dečki bolj izobraženih staršev so bolj gibalno učinkoviti kot njihovi vrstniki staršev, ki imajo nižjo stopnjo izobrazbe.

Sekundarni povzetek: The purpose of our research was to find out if education of parents, which is also a good indicator of the social-economic status of the family, can help in explaining the differences in physical fitness of boys in their late childhood period. The research included 185 boys aged 9, 10 , or 11, who were at the time of fitness measuring activities in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade at different primary schools. The fitness measuring activities took place at the following primary schools: Podčetrtek, Rogaška Slatina, Lovrenc na Pohorju, Starše, Tone Čufar Maribor, Franc Rozman Stane Maribor, Šentilj, and Mala Nedelja. The results related to the physical fitness of children were obtained using the EUROFIT test battery, which was used to measure body coordination, running speed, the speed of alternative movements, mobility, endurance, explosive strength, repetitive strength and balance. The data on the level of education of parents and on the social status of the family were obtained through questionnaires on sports activity, social status and education, which were filled in by the parents. The collected data were processed with the SPSS Statistics 21.00 computer program for Windows. The level of the impact of education on physical fitness of boys was determined using the statistical method of regression analysis. The results have showed that the education of both parents makes a significant impact on the physical fitness of boys. Male children of better educated parents were more physically fit than their peers whose parents had a lower level of education.
