Metodologija: Izvedli smo pregled in analizo literature. Literaturo smo iskali v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, CINAHL, Medline, Cochrane Library in COBISS.SI s pomočjo ključnih besed v angleškem in slovenskem jeziku. Potek pregleda literature smo predstavili v PRISMA diagramu. Zbrane podatke smo analizirali in sintetizirali z uporabo vsebinske analize.

Sekundarni naslov: Factors that influence vaccination decision among chronic patients
Sekundarni povzetek: Introduction: Influenza is an acute viral disease that mainly occurs in the winter months. The protection against it is vaccination. The purpose was to determine which factors influence the chronic patients’ vaccination decision-making. Methodology: A review and analysis of the literature was performed. A search of the literature in the PubMed, CINAHL, Medline, Cochrane Library and COBISS.SI databases with the help of keywords in English and Slovenian was done. The course of the literature review was presented in the PRISMA diagram. The collected data were analysed and synthesized by using content analysis. Results: 15 articles were included in the analysis. The main factor that convinces chronic patients to get vaccinated has been the advice of a doctor or other health professionals. Vaccination was positively associated with age, concomitant presence of the disease, and previous vaccination experience. Common reasons for not vaccinating, however, were the opinions of people that they are healthy, that the influenza is not a dangerous disease, and doubts about the effectiveness of the vaccine. Discussion and conclusion: The analysis of the literature has shown that despite the presence of chronic disease, many patients do not get vaccinated against influenza. In this area it would be sensible to conduct research on the causes of non-vaccination in the Slovenian environment within the framework of reference clinics, where chronic patients go more often. Emphasis is needed on vaccination promotion, influenza awareness and vaccine safety.
