Povzetek

Digitalna doba in razvoj tehnologije spreminjata naše vsakdanje življenje. Velik vpliv se pozna tudi na trgu dela in delovnem okolju, predvsem pri izvajanju delovnih nalog in ustvarjanju novih delovnih pogojev. Svoje mesto v digitalni dobi si je pridobila uporaba mobilnih aplikacij, ki olajšajo vsakodnevne procese, kot tudi delovne procese. Mobilne aplikacije imajo tako mnoge učinke na zaposlene, a področje še ni dovolj raziskano. Gre namreč za novejši trend, ki se vedno bolj širi in prodira v podjetja in organizacije. Zato smo se odločili podati boljši vpogled glede vplivov tehnologije na trg dela in zaposlene. Bolj podrobno smo raziskali vplive uporabe mobilnih aplikacij v organizacijskih oz. delovnih procesih na zaposlene, predvsem v Sloveniji. Namen magistrskega dela je bil ugotoviti, kako razširjene so mobilne aplikacije v slovenskih podjetjih, kako redna je njihova uporaba, raziskati vpliv mobilnih aplikacij na zaposlene, kako se zaposleni ob tem počutijo in kakšno je njihovo mnenje glede uporabe mobilnih aplikacij v delovnih procesih. V teoretičnem delu naloge smo predstavili digitalno dobo in naravo dela, vpliv tehnologije na trg dela, informacijsko-komunikacijsko tehnologijo, mobilno tehnologijo in mobilno aplikacijo z vidikov različnih avtorjev. Nadaljevali smo s proučevanjem mobilne tehnologije v povezavi z zaposlenimi v podjetjih. Zanimalo nas je, kakšne posledice so opazne in kakšne vplive pušča v delovnem okolju. V magistrskem delu smo raziskali, kakšno je stanje v slovenskih podjetjih in kakšno mnenje imajo zaposleni v Sloveniji o uporabi mobilnih aplikacij. Anketirali smo priložnostni vzorec zaposlenih in podatke analizirali s pomočjo statističnega orodja SPSS. Testirali smo sedem raziskovalnih hipotez. Ugotovili smo, da se svetovni trend mobilnih aplikacij odraža tudi v Sloveniji. Uporaba mobilnih aplikacij v podjetjih je že razširjena in se širi. Večina zaposlenih v Sloveniji se namreč že poslužuje uporabe mobilnih aplikacij na delovnem mestu. Mnenja o uporabi mobilnih aplikacij na delovnih mestih v Sloveniji so zelo pozitivna, a kljub temu med anketiranci obstaja mnenje, da mobilne aplikacije niso nujno potrebne v vseh organizacijskih procesih. Zaznati gre značilnost mobilnih aplikacij, da procese sicer olajšajo, a za samo izvajanje niso nujno potrebne. Kot smo omenili, so mobilne aplikacije v porastu. So novejša tematika, predvsem ko se pogovarjamo o njihovi uporabi v delovnih procesih. Mnoge učinke uporabe mobilne tehnologije na delovnih mestih lahko zgolj predvidimo, nekatere pa smo že zaznali. Vplive torej že lahko začnemo zaznavati v delovnem okolju, na trgu dela, v spreminjajočih se zahtevah delodajalcev, pogojih dela, spreminjajočem se načinu dela in načinu zaposlitve. Veliko stvari lahko predvidimo, ne moremo pa jih natančno napovedati. Mobilna tehnologija in digitalna doba bodo namreč svoje razsežnosti pokazale skozi čas. Na to moramo biti pripravljeni, minimizirati posledice in se novostim sproti prilagajati.

Sekundarni povzetek: The digital age and the development of technology are changing our everyday lives. They have a big influence on the labor market and work space, especially on task performance and the creation of new working conditions. The use of mobile applications, which facilitate everyday processes as well as work processes, has also gained its place in the digital age. Mobile applications thus have many effects on employees; nonetheless, this field has not yet been extensively researched. It is a new trend that is increasingly spreading and is penetrating companies and organizations. Therefore, we decided to provide a better insight into the effects of technology on the labor market and employees as well as explore the effects of using mobile applications in organizational and work processes on employees, mainly in Slovenia. The purpose of the master’s thesis was to determine how widespread mobile applications are in Slovenian companies and how regular is their use as well as to investigate the impact of mobile applications on employees, how employees feel during this process and what their opinion is about the use of mobile applications in the workplace. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we presented the digital age and the nature of work, the impact of technology on the labor market, information and communication technology, mobile technology and mobile applications from the perspective of different authors. We continued to study mobile technology in conjunction with company employees. We wanted to determine what consequences are notable and what effects mobile technology has on the employees’ work environment. In our master’s thesis, we researched the situation in Slovenian companies and the opinion of employees in Slovenia on the use of mobile applications. We surveyed the employees and analyzed the data using the SPSS statistical tool. Furthermore, we tested seven research hypotheses. We found that the global trend of using mobile applications is also reflected in Slovenia. The use of mobile applications in companies is already widespread and is expanding even more. Most of the employees in Slovenia already use mobile applications at work. Opinions on the use of mobile applications in the workplace in Slovenia were positive; nevertheless, the respondents believe that mobile applications are not necessarily needed in all organizational processes. The perceived feature of mobile applications is that they facilitate processes, but they are not necessarily required for their operation. As already mentioned, the use of mobile applications is on the rise. They are a current topic, especially when we talk about their use in the workplace. Many of the effects of using mobile technology in the workplace can only be predicted, and some are already detected in the labor market. The effects are therefore already perceived in the work environment, the labor market, the changing demands of employers, the working conditions, the changing work methods and the nature of work. We can predict many things, but we cannot accurately predict these effects. Mobile technology and digital age will show their dimensions over time. We need to be prepared for them, minimize their consequences and adapt to new changes on an ongoing basis.
