priporočilo jih dejansko uporabijo in kako so z njimi zadovoljne. Informacije o tem so bile
pobudo za dejansko uporabo dajo največkrat same. V večini primerov so z uporabljenimi
metodami zadovoljne.

Research on availability and use of labour pain relief with methods of conventional and complementary medicine |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
Labour pain is an important factor with every birth, as it can influence the process of
giving birth to a child. There are numerous methods of labour pain relief and this research
is focused on what methods women in labour choose, where they get informed about them,
who introduces the methods to them and how satisfied they are with the applied methods.
Information has been collected through a survey among young mothers. It has been
discovered that women in labour most frequently choose non-pharmacological means of
labour pain relief; rarely they use a combination with pharmacological means and even less
frequently they use only pharmacological means.
Compared to methods of conventional medicine, complementary medicine is employed
less often. Methods of complementary medicine are usually combined with nonpharmacological
methods of conventional medicine, but never with pharmacological
means of conventional medicine. Women in labour seek information through various
sources, most frequently in schools for parents; these methods are mostly applied on their
own initiative. In most cases, women in labour are satisfied with the applied methods. |
