Analiza in primerjava na Debianu temelječih Linux distribucij

Povzetek

V diplomskem delu je predstavljen operacijski sistem Linux in njegove komponente, kakor tudi posamezne trenutno najbolj priljubljene distribucije, ki temeljijo na Debianu. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene, opisane in analizirane tehnične karakteristike izbranih distribucij. V praktičnem delu so prikazani rezultati zmogljivostnih testov, s katerimi smo testirali izkoriščenost sistemskih virov. Ugotovitve kažejo, da pri testiranju izbranih distribucij ne pride do večjega odstopanja, saj vse distribucije učinkovito izkoristijo sistemske vire.

Sekundarni povzetek:	This thesis presents the Linux operating system and its components, as well as some of the currently most popular Debian-based distributions. In the theoretical part, the technical characteristics of selected distributions are presented, described and analyzed. The practical part presents the results of performance tests in which we tested the utilization of system resources. Research shows that there is no major discrepancy in the testing of selected distributions, as all distributions make efficient use of system resources.
