Sekundarni povzetek: The following thesis deals with the use of energy storage systems for the storage of produced electrical energy from photovoltaic systems. A battery energy storage systems in combination with a photovoltaic systems are analysed on the basis of real measured data over a period of two years. The impact of battery energy storage integration on the provision of self-sufficiency in electrical energy is analysed. A study of three different examples of system dimensioning has also been made. In the first case it is a dimensioned system that provides complete self-sufficiency in electrical energy, in the second case it is a dimensioned system that allows independent operation from the grid and in the third case it is a dimensioned system that stores excess electrical energy produced from photovoltaic system in the form of hydrogen. An economic analysis of the existing photovoltaic system with battery energy storage is performed. The economic analysis of all three examples of dimensioning systems has also been made. The results of the master's thesis prove that it is possible to dimension systems for complete self-sufficiency and independent operation from the grid, but these systems are oversized and are economically unjustified. In general, the integration of energy storage systems has a negative impact on the economic viability of the investment, as it does not bring direct financial benefits. Indicators of the economic viability of the investment have shown that the investment in photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems does not pay off. From the economic point of view, hydrogen storage is a better solution for storing energy than battery energy storage systems.
