Zaradi težavnosti in količine teh že mladi dobivajo poškodbe. Na začetku so te manjše, a brez zdravljenja in primerne razporeditve treningov, na dolgi rok povzročijo kronične težave. Zaradi prisilne plesne drže nastane anteriorni nagib medenice in tog ledveni predel, kljub temu da so vretenca v drugih ravneh precej fleksibilna.

Sekundarni naslov: The impact of stabilizers on lower back pain in dancing
Sekundarni povzetek: Low back pain (hereinafter: LBP) can affect anyone, regardless of their age or sex. Pain can be caused by injury, nevertheless the more common pathologies are the result of incorrect posture and decreased muscle tone. Sports injuries most frequently occur in lower limbs and lumbar region at trainings during the season, regardless of the sport. With the sports that include a component of flexibility in combination with explosive movements and numerous repetitions, often a chronic form of LBP occurs. Due to the requirements for flexibility in dance, LBP occurs already at a very early age. It is very early that children and youngsters start with physically very strenuous trainings, which represent a great effort for their muscles. Due to the difficulty and quantity of trainings, already youngsters face injuries. It starts off with minor injuries that can, if untreated and in the absence of adequate arrangement of training, in the long run bring about chronic disorders. Due to their forced dance posture, dancers develop anterior pelvic tilt and a rigid lumbar region, even though the flexibility of the vertebrae in other segments is retained rather well. The problems could be prevented with an adequately personally adjusted training programme, enabling dancers to prepare their body to get accustomed to such kind of effort already at a young age. It has been proved that the introduction and inclusion of stabilisation exercise into a regular training process has a positive impact on the prevention of LBP. Good body condition can prevent the occurrence of injuries and in this way we can avoid an increased level of stress. LBP can represent a heavy psychological burden for a dancer, as a rehabilitation process of a chronic LBP can be lengthy, which also applies to the absence of trainings, performances or competitions. We can positively impact psychological and physical well-being of a dancer with raising their awareness of the importance of consistent stabilisation exercise.
