Povzetek
Skupina otrok, starih od 4 do 5 let, iz vrtca Bled je raziskovala življenje v okoliškem potoku Rečica. Z aktivnostmi smo želeli potok predstaviti kot življenjsko okolje za živa bitja, in ne samo kot tekočo vodo brez življenja. Odločili smo se, da bomo raziskali živali v potoku. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili spoznavanje živali v potoku, ugotavljali njegovo onesnaženost/čistost ter pomen odraslih oseb, ki vodijo aktivnost in otrokom dajejo zgled in spodbudo. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili izvedbo vrste različnih dejavnosti za otroke, s čimer smo razširili njihovo znanje o potoku. Napredek znanja otrok smo spremljali in primerjali z analizo risb in s prostim intervjujem o živalih pred aktivnostjo in po njej ter s pomočjo dejavnosti, ki smo jih načrtovali in rezultate z analizo odgovorov.

A group of children aged between four and five explored life in a stream near the Bled Kindergarten that they attend. All activities were designed to show the stream is a habitat, not merely a body of running water without life. We decided to focus on the fauna in the stream. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on fauna in streams, methods of determining the extent of pollution of the water, and the importance of adults who lead the activities, as well as provide a positive example and motivation for the children. The empirical part presents the implementation of various activities that were aimed at improving the children's knowledge of streams. Their progress was monitored with drawings and interviews before, during, and after the activities. Their drawings and answers were subsequently analysed, the results are presented in the thesis. |
