Sekundarni povzetek: The work represents the continuation and extension of the research results carried out in the company Belinka Perkemija d.o.o. and at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology in Ljubljana. The aim is to quantitatively describe the process of purification of crude hydrogen peroxide in an extraction column during continuous operation and to find the saturation point of 1,1,3,3-tetrabutylurea (TBU) when used as a solvent for purification. A column comparable in dimensions to the one used in the Belinka Perkemija d.o.o. research was fabricated at the faculty. The column was installed in the production facility and filled four times with fresh TBU solvent. The first three tests were performed at the site of the industrial extraction column, where the hydrogen peroxide is removed from the working solution, and the last test at the industrial wash column point, where some of the working solution residue had already been removed. The TOC values of the incoming and returning hydrogen peroxide and the operating parameters of the extraction column were monitored. Based on the experimental data, the change in TOC values was plotted as a function of the volume of crude hydrogen peroxide. Experiments were conducted until the difference in TOC values fell below the acceptable value of 100. In this way, I was able to determine the efficacy of TBU as a solvent to remove organic contaminants from crude hydrogen peroxide solutions.
