Povzetek
V diplomskem delu so predstavljene rane, ki so neizogiben del našega življenja. Opisani so etiologija in tipi ran, proces in motnje celjenja ter vplivi na celjenje. Pri oskrbi kronične rane ima pomembno vlogo tudi patronažna medicinska sestra, ki pomembno vpliva na izboljšanje kakovosti življenja v zdravstveni negi pacienta z ranami. Celjenje kroničnih ran in spremenjena samopodoba posežeta v dotedanjo kakovost posameznikovega življenja, saj se posameznik le stežka privadi na spremembe v svoji samopodobi. Pogosto je potrebno spremeniti življenjski stil, navade in se prilagoditi, pri tem pa pacient s kronično rano potrebuje čas, pa tudi strpnost in spodbudo okolja.
V empiričnem delu je uporabljena kvantitativna metoda raziskovanja, s pomočjo katere smo ocenjevali vpliv kronične rane na kakovost življenja. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 30 pacientov s kroničnimi ranami na terenu. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da kronična rana vpliva na kakovost življenja. Največji oviri pri vsakdanjih aktivnostih sta bolečina in neprijeten vonj, anketiranci pa so najpogosteje ovirani pri kopanju in umivanju, gibanju, socialnih stikih, rekreaciji in športu. Pri tem potrebujejo pomoč, katero jim nudijo svojci. Pogosto so prisotni občutki razdražljivosti, negotovosti, jeze. Anketiranci menijo, da se najdlje celi golenja razjeda, v povprečju 12 mesecev in več.

This thesis presents wounds that are an inevitable part of our lives. Etiology, types of wounds, healing process, disruption of healing and impacts on healing are described. Community health nurse plays an important role in care of chronic wounds and that care has a major impact on improving the patient`s quality of life. Healing of chronic wounds and changes in patent self-image intervene in individual’s quality of life, it is very hard for patients to get used to the changes in self-image. It is often necessary to change lifestyle and to adapt. In order to adapt, patient with chronic wound needs time, as well as tolerance and encouragement from the environment.
Quantitative research method was used in the empirical part of this work. We assessed the effect of chronic wounds in the patient’s quality of life. The study included 30 patients with chronic wounds. Results are showing us that chronic wound do affect the quality of life. Two major obstacles in everyday activities are pain and odor. Patients are most frequently impeded at bathing, washing, motion, social contacts, recreation and sport. Relatives help them with these activities. Feelings of irritability, insecurity and anger are often present. Survey respondents believe that longest healing process occurs with lower leg ulcer, which could take 12 months or more. |
