Pridobljene podatke, tj. zabeležena odpiranja in zapiranja ventilov smo izvozili v programski paket Microsoft Office Excel in jih nato obdelali s pomočjo programskega paketa IBM SPSS Statistics. Izračunali smo deskriptivne statistike ter preverili frekvenčno porazdelitev. Opravljena sta bila analiza normalnosti porazdelitve in neparametričen test oz. Wilcoxon signed – ranks test, kjer smo statistično analizirali odprtja in zaprtja elektromagnetnih ventilov za konvencionalni in adaptivni način delovanja razvitega adaptivnega sistema.

An adaptive system for plant protection product application in cherry orchards |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
In a cherry orchard, an adaptive system was tested for the application of plant protection products (hereinafter referred to as FFS), which works on the principle of controlling the electro-magnetic valves on the sprayer. The system was upgraded and evaluated as part of the TRANSFARM 4.0 project at the Department of Biosystems Engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, University of Maribor. We compared the theoretical amount of FFS doses when using the sprayer in conventional and adaptive modes of operation. The obtained data, which were the recorded opening and closing of valves, were exported to the Microsoft Office Excel software package and then processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics software package. Descriptive statistics were calculated, and the frequency distribution was checked. An analysis of the normality of the distribution was performed, as well as a non-parametric test or Wilcoxon signed-ranks test where we statistically analyzed the opening and closing of electro-magnetic valves for the conventional and adaptive mode of operation of the system. Through the performed tests, we found that the system brings a statistically significant saving in the amount of FFS doses while, at the same time, it reduces FFS pollution to the immediate surroundings. The investigated system proved to be very reliable and efficient in operation and represents an important step towards a more accurate application and economical use of FFS which brings savings to farmers |
