Upodobitve pokrajine v kriminalnem žanru in turistični pogled

Povzetek

Filmski turizem je hitro rastoča oblika pop-kulturnega turizma, pri katerem filmski turisti obiščejo filmsko destinacijo z željo, da doživijo oziroma podoživijo filmsko zgodbo. Izhajajoč iz predpostavke o pomembni vlogi medijskih reprezentacij za turizem oz. vse večjemu prepletu medijskih in turističnih praks danes, smo se v zaključnem delu osredotočili na kriminalistični žanr in reprezentacijo pokrajine v njem. Na začetku so predstavljeni filmski turizem, družbeno-kulturni pogoji, ki so pripomogli k njegovi uveljavitvi, koncepta medijske reprezentacije in turističnega pogleda. Namen raziskave je bil prepoznati pomene in vloge pokrajine v slovenski TV-seriji Jezero in opredeliti, kako reprezentacije pokrajine oblikujejo turistični pogled. Izvedena je bila multimodalna analiza epizod, ki se je sistematično osredotočala na posamezne načine premikanja detektiva skozi pokrajino in analizirala, kako je pokrajina v teh sekvencah upodobljena s pomočjo različnih semiotičnih sistemov. Skozi analizo epizod smo identificirali različne pomene pokrajine, ki jih konstruira serija: pokrajina kot sredstvo za sproščanje oz. pobeg iz vsakdana, vir nevarnosti in skrivnostnosti ter vir kontemplacije in novih moči. Ugotovili smo, da ima pokrajina v seriji pomembno vlogo: je gradnik atmosfere, vzdušja ter čustev, služi kot motivacija in kot umestitev fikcijske zgodbe v resničnostni svet, posledično njene podobe v seriji pomembno usmerjajo turistični pogled.

Sekundarni povzetek:	Film tourism is a rapidly growing form of pop culture tourism, in which film tourists visit a film destination with the desire to experience or relive a film story. Based on the assumption of the important role of media representations for tourism or the growing intertwining of media and tourist practices today, the thesis focuses on crime genre and the representation of landscape in it. At first, film tourism is presented with the social and cultural conditions that contributed to its establishment, and the concept of media representation and the tourist faze are introduced. The purpose of our research was to identify the meanings and roles of the landscape in the Slovenian TV series The Lake and to explain how representations of the landscape shape the tourist gaze. Multimodal analysis of media text was performed. It systematically focused on different movements of detective through the landscape and explored how the landscape is depicted in these sequences with the help of various semiotic systems. Through the analysis different meanings of the landscape constructed by the series were recognized: the landscape as a means of relaxation or an escape from everyday life, a source of danger and mystery, and a source of contemplation and empowerment. We conclude that the landscape plays an important role in the series: it is a building block of atmosphere, mood and emotions, it serves as motivation and for setting the fictional story into the real world. As a result, images of landscape in the series significantly cultivate the tourist gaze.
