Sekundarni povzetek: | The master’s thesis presents a fire analysis procedure for steel column exposed to localised fire by using advanced calculation methods. The HEA 600 column in question is a vertical load-bearing element of the two-member cross-frame in a single-storey industrial hall made of steel. The thesis only provides an analysis of a columns’s fire resistance according to the Eurocode standard SIST EN 1993-1-2. For a quick and simple engineering calculation of the columns’s critical temperature, a solver tool that is part of the Microsoft Excel software was used. The OZone 3 software tool was used to determine the evolution of steel column temperature and heat flux in the event of a localised fire. A localised fire was defined based on the RHR curve in relation to time and determined according to the Eurocode standard SIST EN 1991-1-2. As OZone 3 does not allow the temperature evolution of a protected steel section to be calculated, adiabatic surface temperature (AST) was introduced for this purpose according to the scientific literature. Based on this, a temperature equilibrium equation was derived in order to determine the temperature of gases in the immediate vicinity of the column and in turn the temperature in the protected steel element. |
