Povzetek
Učitelj opravlja zelo raznoliko delo, saj poleg primarnega vzgojno-izobraževalnega dela vključuje tudi delo z učenci, ki imajo vedno več vedenjskih in učnih težav. Tudi starši se vse bolj vključujejo v izobraževanje otrok, zaradi česar je učitelj primoran vse pogosteje sodelovati z njimi v različnih formalnih in neformalnih oblikah. Starši pogosto postavljajo visoka pričakovanja glede učiteljevega dela, uporabljenih metod in oblik poučevanja in marsikdaj se z njegovim delom tudi ne strinjajo. Omenjeno vodi v vse več težavnih okoliščin med učitelji in starši, ki lahko v nekaterih primerih izzovejo doživljanje stresa pri učiteljih. Namen magistrskega dela je raziskati mnenja osnovnošolskih učiteljev o tem, kako stresno doživljajo sodelovanje s starši otrok, katere oblike sodelovanja jim predstavljajo večji stres in katera starševska dejanja so zanje najbolj stresna. S pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki so ga izpolnjevali osnovnošolski učitelji, smo ugotovili, da sodelovanje s starši učitelji velikokrat doživljajo kot stresno. Največ stresa predstavljajo obiski staršev pri pouku, roditeljski sestanki in nato govorilne ure. Učiteljem se zdita najbolj stresni dejanji staršev kadar le-ti posegajo v njihovo vzgojno-izobraževalno delo in kadar pripisujejo krivdo za neuspeh svojih otrok nanje. Učitelji uporabljajo tudi različne tehnike, s katerimi bi omilili ali celo odpravili pojav stresa, pri čemer prednjačita pogovor z bližnjimi ter uporaba fizičnih tehnik (npr. tek, sprehod v naravi).

Teachers' work is very varied, involving not only primary educational work but also work with pupils who have more and more behavioral and learning difficulties. Parents are also increasingly involved in their children's education, requiring the teacher to work with them in a variety of formal and informal ways. Parents often have high expectations of the teacher's work, methods and forms of teaching, and often disagree with what the teacher is doing. This leads to more and more difficult situations between teachers and parents, which in some cases can provoke teachers to experience stress. The purpose of the master's thesis was to investigate the opinions of primary school teachers on how stressful they find working with their children's parents, which forms of cooperation are more stressful for them and which parental actions are the most stressful for them. Using a questionnaire filled in by primary school teachers, we found out that teachers often experience cooperation with parents as stressful. The most stressful aspects of their work are the parents' visits to the classroom, the parent-teacher conferences, and then the one-on-one meetings between a parent and a teacher. Teachers find it most stressful when parents interfere in their educational work and when they blame them for their children's failure. Teachers also use a variety of techniques to alleviate or even eliminate stress, the most common of them being talking to loved ones and using physical techniques (e.g. jogging, walking in nature). |
