Povzetek

Morfološka struktura mest je rezultat različnih socialnih in gospodarskih okoliščin ter vplivov preteklosti. V fizični zgradbi mesta se odražajo vsi dejavniki, vse vsebine, ki so v naselju prisotne in ga kakorkoli sooblikujejo. Morfološka struktura naselja ne predstavlja zgolj vsote sestavnih elementov naselja, ampak je pomembno njihovo medsebojno razmerje, ki obenem predstavlja vir spoznanj o mestu samem. Namen diplomskega dela je prepoznati najpogostejše načine zazidanosti, tipe objektov, tipe javnih odprtih površin in objekte simbolnega pomena mesta Ajdovščina. Njihova razmestitev in pojavne oblike so povezane z razmestitvijo funkcij in prostorskim razvojem mesta. Novejša območja enodružinskih hiš na severu so prostorsko ločena od industrijskih con na jugu. Na vmesnem prostoru se nahajata historični jedri Ajdovščine in Šturij s prevladujočimi centralnimi dejavnostmi in simbolno najpomembnejšimi objekti.

Sekundarni povzetek:	Morphological city structure is a result of many different social and economic conditions, moreover of the influence of the past history. In the physical composition of a city reflects all the factors and contents, which are present in the settlement and form it together. Morphological structure of the settlement does not represent only the sum of all components that form the city, but it is an emphasis on their mutual relationship, which also represents the source of cognition considering the settlement. The main purpose of my diploma is recognizing the most common ways of building, types of building, types of areas open to public and buildings of symbolic meaning. Their arrangement and the form of phenomenon are connected with displacing of functions and spatial development of the city. Recent regions of detached houses in the north are spatial separated from industrial zone in the south. The area between is settled with historical city centres of Ajdovščina and Šturje, where central activities are predominating, moreover there can be found also most symbolic important buildings.
