Povzetek

V okviru magistrske naloge smo se osredotočili na vpliv okoljskih danosti, v katerem se osnovna šola nahaja (ruralno, suburbano ali urbano), na razumevanje prometnih vsebin. Vključeni so bili razredi na razredni stopnji. Naloga je razdeljena na tri dele. V prvem, teoretičnem delu, smo temo spoznali in obravnavali z različnimi viri in s pomočjo učnih načrtov za spoznavanje okolja ter naravoslovje in tehniko. Sledil je empirični del, kjer smo predstavili rezultate raziskave, katere namen je bil raziskati in primerjati znanje učencev o prometu glede na okolje, v katerem živijo. Zanimalo nas je, ali morebitne razlike dejansko obstajajo ter ali bi bilo morda potrebno na katerih področjih znanje izboljšati. Raziskava je bila narejena na vzorcu 390 učencev iz šestih različnih osnovnih šol, po dve iz vsakega okolja. Zbrane podatke smo obdelali s pomočjo SPSS programa. Rezultati kažejo, da učenci pravzaprav zelo dobro poznajo teme o prometu na razredni stopnji, saj je bilo nalog, kjer se je pojavila statistično značilna razlika, zelo malo (izmed vseh nalog jih je bilo le 10 takšnih). Razlika v znanju glede na okolje se pojavi v 5. razredu, kjer so najbolje reševali učenci iz ruralnega okolja. Tendenca k statistično značilni razliki pa se kaže tudi pri rezultatih v 2. in 4. razredu. V 2. razredu je bila razlika največja med ruralnim in urbanim okoljem, v 4. pa med ruralnim in suburbanim.

Sekundarni povzetek: In this master's thesis, we focused on the influence of the environmental realities in which elementary school is located (rural, suburban, or urban) on understanding traffic contents. All grades of elementary school (1st-5th) were involved in the research. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first theoretical part, we learned about the topic and addressed it with several sources and curricula for learning about the environment, and natural science and technology. In the empirical part that followed, we presented research results; the research aimed to investigate and compare students' knowledge about traffic according to the environment in which they live. We wanted to determine whether potential differences exist and whether it is necessary to improve knowledge in some areas. The research was carried out on a sample of 390 students from six different elementary schools, two from each environment. The collected data was processed with the help of the SPSS programme. The results show that students know traffic topics in the first years of elementary school very well because there were very few tasks where statistically significant differences occurred (of all tasks, there were only ten such). The difference in knowledge according to the environment appears in the 5th grade, where students from the rural environment got the best results. The tendency towards a statistically significant difference is also evident in the 2nd and 4th grade results. In the 2nd grade, the difference was the biggest between rural and urban environments, and in the 4th grade between rural and suburban.
