diplomsko delo
Povzetek
V diplomskem delu preučujem jezik, govor in vloge govornih osebnosti na Radiu Slovenija. Radijska govorna osebnost je zapleten in večplastni člen med poslušalci in vsebino. Zahteva ogromno znanja, ki se ga ne da celovito naučiti v nobeni sorodni institucionalizirani ustanovi. Samo "lep glas" in obvladovanje pravorečja sta premalo, radijska govorna osebnost mora imeti še primerno barvo glasu, obvladati mora naglas slovenskega knjižnega jezika, vse segmente stavčne fonetike (intonacijo, register, ritem in hitrost govora, glasnost, členitev besedila), znati pravilno dihati, negovati svoj glas.

Guidelines in Quality Radio Speech (based on the case of Radio Slovenia) |

The thesis deals with language, speech and the role of speakers at Radio Slovenia. A radio speaker is a complex link between listeners and the subject matter. One has to have wide knowledge of various areas, which can not be learned in any similar institution. A good speaker has to have much more than just "a pleasant voice" and a working knowledge of grammar and rhetoric. For radio address, a suitable tone of voice, mastering the accent of the standard Slovenian literary language, a command of all aspects of sentence phonetics (i.e. intonation, register, rhythm of speech, speed, volume, repartition of text) are also a must. A speaker has to master the proper breathing technique and learn to take care of his or her instrument - the voice. Having gained control of all these skills, one can start upgrading one's performance with vivacity, energy and persuasiveness. A radio speaker also has to be professional, competent, well-read, as well as emotionally and mentally stabile. Above all he or she has to serve the needs of the listener. The thesis describes the method of speakers' education used at the Centre for Quality Radio Speech at Radio Slovenia. Special attention is also paid to writing for the radio, which is in many ways different from writing for other media: newspapers or television. "Writing for the ear" demands a deep, thorough command of the Slovenian written language and a sharp sense for the spoken language, as well as a rich vocabulary and a feel for the rhythm of the sentence. The style of such writing must conform to the essence of radio-conveyed messages - they are basically unique, since they cannot be repeated or re-read. |
