Povzetek
V magistrskem delu smo se odločili preučiti, kakšno vlogo ima zakonski stan pri doseganju zadanih učnih ciljev mladih v Sloveniji. Učne cilje smo razdelili na dva sklopa, to je učni uspeh, ki smo ga merili s povprečno oceno v zadnjem šolskem letu ter stopnjo izobrazbe. Stopnjo izobrazbe smo prav tako ločili na dejansko doseženo stopnjo ter željo, torej stopnjo, ki jo mladostniki želijo doseči. Najprej smo navedli in razjasnili definicije pojmov: socialni odnosi, zakonski stan, s poudarkom na romantičnih odnosih, ter učni uspeh. V magistrskem delu smo uporabili večje število raziskovalnih metod. V prvih treh poglavjih, to je predvsem v teoretični osnovi, smo uporabili kvalitativno analizo virov in literature. Preko raziskane literature smo izpostavili raziskave, ki so se ukvarjale z izbrano tematiko. V empiričnem delu pa smo uporabili kavzalno-neeksperimentalno metodo dela. Tako smo uporabili sekundarno analizo podatkov, zbranih v raziskavi Slovenska mladina 2018/2019, na podlagi katere smo preverili zastavljene hipoteze. Izvedli smo frekvenčne analize, parametrične preizkuse in preverjali korelacije. Potrdili smo statistično značilne razlike med uspehom in zakonskim stanom. Mladostniki, ki so bili v zvezi, so javili nižje ocene v zaključnih letnikih izobraževanje kot tisti, ki niso bili v zvezi. Obenem smo pokazali, da tisti, ki so samski, dosegajo nižje stopnje izobrazbe kot tisti, ki so v zvezi. Ugotovili smo, da se dnevno porabljen čas ne razlikuje glede na zakonski stan. Nasprotno pa se je izkazalo, da mladostniki, ki so v zvezi porabijo več časa za aktivnosti v povezavi z zaposlitvijo. Ugotovili smo, da večja kot je želja po poroki, večja je želja mladostnikov po zaključku študija in obenem povezava med pričetkom bivanja s partnerjem in doseženo stopnjo izobrazbe.

The role of marital status in achieving set goals of young people in their educational proces |

In the master's thesis, we study what role marital status plays in achieving set learning goals of young adults. Firstly, we listed and elaborated the definitions of the following terms: marital status, social relations, relationships, academic success. By reviewing the relevant literature, we concluded that there are varied opinions on how and to what extent relationships influence the course of one’s academic process in adolescents. In the master's thesis, we used a vast number of research methods. In the first three chapters, i.e. primarily in the theoretical segment, we used a qualitative analysis of sources and literature. Based on the researched literature, we focused on the research that was dealing with the selected topic. In the empirical part, we used the causal-non-experimental method of work. Thus, we used a secondary analysis of the data collected in the Slovenian Youth 2018/2019 survey, based on which we verified the set hypotheses. We performed frequency analyses, parametric tests and checked correlations. We confirmed statistically significant differences between academic success and marital status. Adolescents who were in a relationship reported lower grades in their final years of education than those who were not in a relationship. In contrast, those who were single obtained a lower degree than those who were in a relationship. We concluded that the daily time spent studying does not differ regardless of marital status. Furthermore, young people who are in a relationship spend more time on activities related to achieving employment. We concluded that a greater desire for marriage, reflects into a greater desire for young adults to finish their studies and at the same time the connection between the start of living together with a partner and the degree of education achieved. |
