Povzetek
V vzgojno-varstveni ustanovi Črna na Koroškem sem v starostnem obdobju otrok 3-4 in 4-5 let opravila raziskavo primerjave uspešnosti različnih metod obravnave gibanj Sonca, Zemlje in Lune v vrtcu. Zanimale so me razlike v razumevanju in odnosu otrok do astronomske vsebine v izbranih didaktičnih metodah, ki vključujejo različne učne pripomočke in kakšne so te razlike glede na starost. Osnovni namen raziskave je primerjati uspešnost izbranih didaktičnih metod, ki vključujejo različne učne pripomočke glede na tristopenjski nivo zahtevnosti razumevanja pri obeh starostnih obdobjih. Otrokom smo med in po obravnavi vsebine zastavljali vprašanja, s katerim smo preverili razumevanje vsebine v odvisnosti od metod dela in starosti otrok ter njihov odnos do obravnavne astronomskih tem v odvisnosti od metod dela. Zaradi same raziskave smo intervjuvali tri vzgojiteljice, in tako prišli do informacij o izvajanju astronomskih vsebin. Na podlagi zbranih podatkov smo ugotovili, da je dosežen nivo razumevanja vsebine odvisen od starosti otrok in uporabe učnih pripomočkov pri izbranih metodah. Rezultati so pokazali, da so starejši otroci bolje odgovarjali na vprašanja najvišjega nivoja kot mlajši, ne glede na uporabo učnih pripomočkov pri izbranih metodah. Ugotovili smo tudi, da so starejši otroci dosegali boljše rezultate v razumevanju pri metodah razlage, razgovora in prikazovanja ob klasičnih učnih pripomočkih in pri informacijsko-komunikacijski tehnologiji kot mlajši. Obstajajo pa zelo majhne razlike med različno starimi otroki v razumevanju pri uporabi metode razlage, razgovora in prikazovanja ob ponazoritvi astronomskih objektov in njihovih gibanj z modeli in ob ponazoritvi astronomskih objektov in njihovih gibanj z igro vlog. Pri obeh starostnih obdobjih otrok smo zasledili statistično pomembne razlike glede motivacije v odvisnosti od didaktičnih metod in učnih pripomočkov.

At the kindergarten in Črna na Koroškem we have done a research on comparison of the efficiency of different methods in treating the movements of the Sun, Earth and Moon at the age of 3 to 4 and 4 to 5-year-old children. We were interested in different ways of understanding and relationship of children towards astronomical contents with chosen didactic methods and the usage of different teaching aids, and what the differences were like regarding the age of children. The main purpose of the research was comparing the successfulness of the chosen didactic methods, using different teaching aids, according to three levels of comprehension of both age groups. The children were asked different questions during and after the learning process in order to check the understanding of the topics regarding the dependence of the methods and age of the children as well as their relationship towards the treated astronomical contents in dependence on the methods. We interviewed three kindergarten teachers to acquire information about the implementation of the astronomical contents. Using the written answers, we have learnt that the level of understanding the topics depends on the age of the children as well as on the used teaching aids, with the support of the chosen methods. The results have shown that older children answered the questions of the highest level better than the younger ones, irrespective of using the teaching aids with the chosen methods. We have discovered that older children reached better results in understanding with the methods of explanation, discussion and demonstration with classical teaching aids and the information and communications technology (ICT) than younger children. However, there is a little difference in understanding between children of different age when using the methods of explanation, discussion and demonstration with illustrations of astronomical objects and their movements either with models or with role plays. At both ages we have pursued a statistically significant difference regarding the motivation in the dependence on didactic methods and teaching aids. |
