Povzetek

Motivacija in komunikacija sta ključ do uspešnega vodenja in prav zato imajo značilnosti vodenja pomemben vpliv na njiju. Značilnosti vodenja, kot so jasna vizija, delegiranje odgovornosti, priznanje dosežkov, odprtost za komunikacijo, dosledna komunikacija in spodbujanje sodelovalne komunikacije, so ključni dejavniki, ki vplivajo na motivacijo in komunikacijo zaposlenih v podjetju. V diplomskem delu smo raziskali vpliv značilnosti vodenja na motivacijo in komunikacijo v mikro in velikem podjetju. V prvem delu diplomskega dela smo se osredotočili na pojem vodenja, stile vodenja, temeljne teorije vodenja, opredelili smo kriterije za mikro in velika podjetja ter kako se vodenje razlikuje v mikro in velikih podjetjih. Sledi predstavitev motivacije in komunikacije. Pri motivaciji smo najprej opisali sam pojem, vrste motivov, katere motivacijske teorije in dejavnike vse poznamo ter kako značilnosti vodenja vplivajo na motivacijo. Pri komunikaciji smo opredelili sam pojem, načine, vrste in sloge komuniciranja, kakšne so značilnosti in opredelili razlike v mikro in velikem podjetju. Ob koncu teoretičnega dela smo opredelili vplive značilnosti vodenja na motivacijo in komunikacijo. V empiričnem delu smo opravili raziskavo med vodji v mikro in velikem podjetju. Pripravili smo vprašanja za intervju, skozi katera smo nato analizirali, kako same značilnosti vodenja vplivajo na motivacijo in komunikacijo v izbranem podjetju. Ugotovili smo, da se vodenje, komunikacija in motivacija razlikujejo v mikro in velikih podjetjih. V obeh vrstah podjetij je treba oblikovati sistem motivacije, zato morajo biti managerji posebej pozorni na relativno vrednost nagrad. V mikro podjetjih se vodje lažje povežejo z zaposlenimi in zato jih tudi bolje poznajo in jih na takšen način lažje motivirajo. V velikih podjetjih se vodje osredotočajo predvsem na napredovanje, razvoj kariere in sisteme nagrajevanja. Prav tako je v mikro podjetjih komunikacija neposredna, fleksibilna in enostavna, kar omogoča tesen stik med vodstvom in zaposlenimi ter hitro izmenjavo informacij. V velikih podjetjih prevladuje formalna komunikacija z uporabo različnih tehnoloških orodij, pri čemer se poudarja delegiranje nalog.

Sekundarni povzetek: Motivation and communication are key to successful leadership and as such, the characteristics of leadership have a significant impact. Leadership characteristics, such as a clear vision, delegation of responsibilities, recognition of achievements, openness to communication, consistent communication and fostering collaborative communication, are crucial factors that influence the motivation and communication of employees in a company. In this thesis, we explored the impact of leadership characteristics on motivation and communication in both micro and large companies. In the first part of the thesis, we focused on the concept of leadership, leadership styles, fundamental leadership theories, defined criteria for micro and large companies and how leadership differs in micro and large companies. This was followed by a chapter on motivation and communication. Regarding motivation, we first described the concept itself, types of motives, various motivational theories, and factors and how leadership characteristics influence motivation. In communication we defined the concept itself, methods, types, and styles of communication, discussed their characteristics and identified differences between micro and large companies. At the end of the first part of the thesis, we also identified the influences of leadership characteristics on motivation and communication. In the second, empirical part of the thesis, we conducted a survey among managers in micro and large companies. We prepared interview questions through which we analysed how the specific leadership characteristics influence motivation and communication in the selected company. We found that leadership, communication, and motivation differ in micro and large companies. In both types of companies, it is necessary to design a motivation system, and managers must pay special attention to the relative value of rewards. In micro companies, leaders can more easily connect with the employees, get to know them better, and therefore motivate them more effectively. In large companies, leaders primarily focus on advancement, career development, and reward systems. Additionally, communication in micro company is direct, flexible, and straightforward, allowing for close contact between management and employees and quick information exchange. In large companies, formal communication predominates, using various technological tools, with an emphasis on task delegation.
