Sekundarni povzetek: | The article deals with translation solutions found in Croatian and Serbian adaptations of the original Slovene fairy tale Maček Muri by Kajetan Kovič. These solutions have a direct impact on the reader response to this canonised Slovene text in the target culture and are of crucial importance for the text's incorporation into the target literary system. The two key questions pursued here are: the degree to which the adequate/ inadequate intercultural transfer of semantic fields of different nominalisations makes understanding or receiving of the original text possible/impossible; and the role that the degree of the original text's translatability plays in this kind of intercultural transfer. |
