Sekundarni povzetek: The thesis describes the development of a web application for machine learning and data mining. Other stand-alone applications for machine learning are described and used as a basis for the development of the web application. Orange4WS serves as a special example as it is utilizing web services for various algorithms and operations. JavaScript and PHP have been selected, along with the markup language HTML and styling language CSS, as enabling technologies for the web application. The web application is developed for all (at the time of writing) popular web browsers and supports building workflows with web services as its elements. The case studies for users are presented along with instructions for the installation of the system to a web server and instructions for expanding the web application by including various algorithms and add-ons. Ideas which include meta-learning on workflows and the generalization of the web application to suit other areas of expertise where the utilization of workflows is sensible, are explained in the conclusion.
