Sekundarni povzetek:	In my diploma thesis I described the history of hard drives, how data is organized in our hard disks, how to access them and how the prices in the relation to the capacity of hard disks change over the time. I briefly described logical organization of data and important ways how to protect data. Then I focused on technologies to solve data, from physical and logical perspective. How we can save data in some situations, how to replace defective parts of the hard disk and how to solve data. In final chapter I described cases of unrecovarable data.
