Povzetek
V magistrskem delu je predstavljena raziskava o osredotočenosti učiteljev dodatne strokovne pomoči nasploh kakor tudi na duševno zdravje učencev, učiteljevo sodelovanje in vrsta predanih informacij pri delu z drugimi učitelji in s starši, usposobljenost učiteljev dodatne strokovne pomoči za prepoznavanje duševnih težav ter zaznavanje vpliva ur dodatne strokovne pomoči nasploh kot z vidika duševnega zdravja učencev. V teoretičnem delu so opisani duševno zdravje in njegovi dejavniki, učenčeva samopodoba, anksioznost in depresija. Opisane so tudi skupine posebnih potreb, dodatna strokovna pomoč, učne težave ter pomen sodelovanja strokovnih delavcev šole in staršev. Empirični del predstavlja odgovore, ki smo jih s kvalitativnim raziskovanjem pridobili od učiteljic dodatne strokovne pomoči s pomočjo polstrukturiranega intervjuja. Učiteljice so odgovarjale na vprašanja, povezana z njihovim delom ter sodelovanjem z drugimi učitelji in starši. Pozornost je bila usmerjena predvsem na informacije, povezane z duševnim zdravjem učencev s posebnimi potrebami. Izkazalo se je, da intervjuvanke pozornost namenjajo učenčevim primanjkljajem, učni snovi, funkcioniranju učenca ter večinoma tudi njegovemu počutju in doživljanju. Predaja informacij s strani učiteljev in staršev se večinoma navezuje predvsem na šolske ocene in učno snov. Intervjuvanke so večinoma ocenile, da znajo prepoznati duševne težave učencev ter da ure dodatne strokovne pomoči pozitivno vplivajo na učenčevo duševno zdravje, a je v nekaterih primerih hkrati mogoče opaziti tudi negativen vpliv.

Focusing the attention of SEN teachers on the mental health of pupils with special needs |

This master's thesis presents research on the focus of special education teachers, in general, as well as on the mental health of pupils, teacher cooperation, and the type of information provided when working with other teachers and parents. It also examines the competence of special education teachers in identifying mental health problems and the perceived impact of additional educational help on pupils' mental health. The theoretical part includes discussions on mental health and its factors, such as the pupil's self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. It also describes special needs groups, additional professional help, learning difficulties, and the importance of collaboration between school staff and parents. The empirical part presents the findings of a qualitative research study, conducted through semi-structured interviews with special education teachers. The teachers were asked about their work and cooperation with other teachers and parents, with a focus on the mental health of pupils with special needs. The results showed that the teachers paid attention to the pupils' weaknesses, learning materials, and functioning, as well as their well-being and experiences. The information shared by teachers and parents mainly revolved around grades and learning materials. The teachers also reported feeling confident in identifying pupils' mental health problems and believed that additional educational help had a positive impact on their mental health, although there were some cases where a negative impact was observed. |
