Povzetek
Uvod: Emocionalna inteligenca je ključni dejavnik zadovoljstva pri delu, zlasti v poklicih, kot je zdravstvena nega, ki zahtevajo intenzivno medosebno interakcijo. Ta pregled literature identificira vpliv emocionalne inteligence na opravljanje poklica medicinskih sester in njen učinek na kakovost zdravstvene oskrbe.
Metode: Izveden je bil pregled literature, v katerem so bile analizirane relevantne raziskave iz baz podatkov, kot so PubMed, CINAHL, SAGE, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, s poudarkom na raziskavah, objavljenih med leti 2014 in 2024. Podatke smo analizirali, ocenili moč dokazov in jih prikazali v sintezni tabeli, kar nam je omogočilo primerjalno obravnavo med posameznimi raziskavami.
Rezultati: V končno analizo smo vključili sedem člankov, ki kažejo, da je višja emocionalna inteligenca povezana z večjim zadovoljstvom pri delu, boljšimi medosebnimi odnosi, večjo delovno učinkovitostjo in zmanjšano izgorelostjo. Medicinske sestre z višjo emocionalno inteligenco bolje obvladujejo stres in učinkoviteje komunicirajo.
Razprava in zaključek: Pregled literature poudarja pomen emocionalne inteligence za večje zadovoljstvo pri delu in zmanjšanje izgorelosti med medicinskimi sestrami. Priporoča se vključitev treningov dviga čustvene inteligence v izobraževalne programe za izboljšanje delovnega okolja in kakovosti oskrbe pacientov. Za boljše razumevanje specifičnih elementov čustvene inteligence in razvoj učinkovitih intervencij so potrebne dodatne raziskave.

Introduction: Emotional intelligence is a key factor in job satisfaction, particularly in professions like nursing that require intensive interpersonal interaction. This literature review explores the impact of emotional intelligence on the practice of nursing and its effect on the quality of healthcare delivery.
Methods: A literature review was conducted, analyzing relevant studies from databases such as PubMed, CINAHL, SAGE, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science, with a focus on research published between 2014 and 2024. Data were analyzed, the strength of the evidence was assessed, and the findings were synthesized into a comparative table, allowing for cross-study comparisons.
Results: Seven articles were included in the final analysis, indicating that higher emotional intelligence is associated with greater job satisfaction, improved interpersonal relationships, enhanced work performance, and reduced burnout. Nurses with higher emotional intelligence are better at managing stress and communicating effectively.
Discussion and Conclusion: The literature review highlights the importance of emotional intelligence in enhancing job satisfaction and reducing burnout among nurses. It recommends incorporating emotional intelligence training into educational programs to improve the work environment and the quality of patient care. Further research is needed to better understand the specific elements of emotional intelligence and to develop effective interventions. |
