Povzetek

Magistrsko delo obravnava izgorelost strokovnih delavcev na Centru za socialno delo Kranj. Ker sem v zadnjem letniku študija opravljala prakso na Centru za socialno delo Kranj, sem temu posvetila tudi magistrsko delo. V pregledu problematike sem predstavila teme, kot so psihosocialna tveganja na delovnem mestu, izgorelost v službah pomoči, vpliv delovnega okolja na nastanek izgorelosti, ravnovesje med delom in zasebnim življenjem ter podpora pri izgorelosti. Raziskovala sem, kakšno podporo imajo strokovni delavci Centra za socialno delo Kranj v primeru izgorelosti, saj je podpora zaposlenim pomembna za uspešno delovanje organizacije. Zanimalo me je, katere strategije preprečevanja izgorelosti uporabljajo strokovni delavci. Prav tako sem raziskovala, kako delovne obremenitve vplivajo na njihovo zasebno življenje, ker se pogosto lahko zgodi, da imajo zaposleni zaradi delovnih obremenitev manj energije v zasebnem življenju, za hobije in socialne stike. Nazadnje pa me je zanimalo še mnenje strokovnih delavcev, kako izgorelost vpliva na delo. Gre za kvalitativno raziskavo, pri kateri sem podatke pridobila z metodo spraševanja. Merski instrument, ki sem ga uporabila, je vodilo za intervju, in sicer z 18 vprašanji, ki sem jih zastavila sedmim strokovnim delavcem Centra za socialno delo Kranj. Rezultati so pokazali, da so strokovni delavci deležni podpore sodelavcev, nadrejenih, bližnjih in podpore s supervizijo. Največjo podporo zaznavajo pri sodelavcih, ki jim pomagajo pri strokovnih vprašanjih ter sodelujejo pri timskih sestankih. Pomanjkljivosti podpore pa zaznavajo pri nadrejenih, bližnjih in superviziji. Kot strategije za preprečevanje izgorelosti uporabljajo skrb zase, počitek, šport in pogovor. Pomembna je tudi hvaležnost uporabnikov in nadrejenih za prispevke njihovega dela, saj pripomore k motivaciji za nadaljnje delo. Rezultati so pokazali, da delovne obremenitve vplivajo na zasebno življenje strokovnih delavcev, saj pogosto prinašajo delovne obveznosti domov in imajo posledično manj časa za počitek, hobije in socialne stike. Nazadnje pa po mnenju strokovnih delavcev izgorelost vpliva na delo zaradi osebnostnih lastnosti, kot sta vestnost in nezmožnost postavljanja mej, zato so takšni delavci bolj nagnjeni k izgorelosti. Izgorelost po mnenju strokovnih delavcev zmanjšuje produktivnost in uspešnost in negativno vpliva na interakcije z uporabniki, kar vodi v slabše odnose z njimi. Prav tako izgorelost omejuje možnosti za poklicno rast in obiskovanje izobraževanj, čeprav lahko izobraževanja služijo kot preventiva izgorelosti.

Sekundarni povzetek: The master's thesis deals with burnout of professionals at the Centre for Social Work Kranj. Since I did my practical work at the Centre for Social Work Kranj in my final year, I dedicated my master thesis to this topic. In the overview of the issue, I presented topics such as psychosocial risks in the workplace, burnout in support services, the impact of the work environment on burnout, work-life balance and burnout support. I investigated the support provided by the professional staff of the Centre for Social Work Kranj in the case of burnout, as the support of employees is important for the successful functioning of the organisation. I was interested in the strategies used by professionals to prevent burnout. I also investigated how workload affects their private life, as it can often happen that employees have less energy for their private life, hobbies and social contacts due to workload. Finally, I was interested in the opinion of professionals on how burnout affects work. This is a qualitative study, and I used the questionnaire method to collect the data. The measuring instrument I used was an interview guide, with 18 questions, which I asked to seven professional workers at the Centre for Social Work Kranj. The results showed that the professionals are supported by their colleagues, supervisors, close relatives and support through supervision. The greatest support is perceived from colleagues who help each other with professional issues and participate in team meetings. However, they perceive a lack of support from supervisors, close relatives and supervision. They use self-care, rest, sport and talking as strategies to prevent burnout. Gratitude from users and supervisors for the contributions of their work is also important as it helps to motivate them to continue working. The results showed that workload affects the private life of professionals, as they often bring work commitments home and consequently have less time for rest, hobbies and social contacts. Finally, according to the practitioners, burnout affects work due to personality traits such as conscientiousness and the inability to set boundaries, making such workers more prone to burnout. According to practitioners, burnout reduces productivity and performance and has a negative impact on interactions with users, leading to poorer relationships with them. Burnout also limits opportunities for professional growth and attendance at training courses, although training can serve as a preventive measure against burnout.
