| Sekundarni naslov: | Application of the Gunnar Farnebäck optical flow method for displacement identification in dynamical processes |
| Sekundarni povzetek: | The Gunnar Farnebäck method is a dense optical flow method and therefore enables higher spatial resolution of measurements. While the method has demonstrated strong performance across various fields, its application in the context of dynamical processes has not yet been extensively investigated. This thesis presents the identification of displacements of a synthetic recording and of a high-speed camera recording using the considered method, as well as a comparison of the results with two optical flow methods already established in this area. Both experiments indicate that the choice of an appropriate method depends on the scale of displacements being tracked and determined. From the comparison of the results, it was observed that the use of the Gunnar Farnebäck method can produce results comparable to those obtained with other optical flow techniques. |
