Povzetek
V mladinske pevske zbore se vključujejo otroci od 5. do 9. razreda osnovne šole. Danes ni več samoumevno, da bi otroci prepevali z veseljem. Na sodelovanje otrok v pevskem zboru lahko vplivajo različni dejavniki, kot so zborovodja, interes, socialni odnosi ter okolje in kultura. Za obiskovanje pevskega zbora je pomembna motivacija posameznika in tukaj ima učitelj glasbe zahtevno nalogo, kako naj navduši učence za sodelovanje v interesni dejavnosti, ki ni obvezna. V empiričnem delu magistrske naloge smo želeli preučiti dejavnike, ki vplivajo na obiskovanje ali neobiskovanje mladinskega pevskega zbora v osnovni šoli. Anketa je bila namenjena tako učencem, ki pevski zbor obiskujejo, kot tistim, ki ga ne. Anketo je rešilo 300 učencev iz treh osnovnih šol. Zanimalo nas je, kateri dejavniki po mnenju učencev v največji meri vplivajo na obiskovanje in kateri na neobiskovanje pevskega zbora. Ugotavljamo, da na obiskovanje pevskega zbora najbolj vpliva veselje do petja, na neobiskovanje pa pomanjkanje interesa za to dejavnost, kar se najbolj kaže v 8. in 9. razredu. Na pomembnost dejavnikov v neki meri vplivajo spol, razred in obiskovanje glasbene šole. V raziskavi smo ugotovili, da se v mladinski pevski zbor bistveno pogosteje vključujejo dekleta kot fantje. Prav tako smo ugotovili, da se učenci, ki obiskujejo glasbeno šolo, pogosteje vključujejo v zbor kot tisti, ki je ne.

Factors influencing participation in a youth choir in primary school |

Children from the 5th to the 9th grade of primary school take part in youth choirs. Nowadays, it can no longer be taken for granted that children enjoy singing. A variety of factors can influence their participation in a choir, including the conductor, personal interest, social relationships, and the broader environment and cultural context. Motivation plays a key role in joining a choir, and music teachers face the challenging task of encouraging pupils to engage in an extracurricular activity that is not compulsory. The empirical part of this master's thesis aimed to examine the factors that influence whether pupils attend or do not attend youth choir in primary school. The survey was conducted among both pupils who participate in the choir and those who do not, with a total of 300 respondents from three primary schools. We sought to identify the factors pupils themselves consider most influential in their decision to join or not to join the choir. The findings show that the-main reason for joining is a love of singing, while the main reason for not participating is a lack of interest in the activity—particularly noticeable among pupils in the 8th and 9th grades. Factors such as gender, grade level, and attendance at music school also play a role in shaping pupils' attitudes. The research revealed that girls are significantly more likely than boys to participate in youth choirs. Similarly, pupils who attend music school are more likely to join the choir than those who do not. |
