Povzetek
Diplomsko delo obravnava pomen in uporabo informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije (IKT) v vrtcu, saj lahko pomembno vpliva na vzgojno-izobraževalni proces. Otrokom omogoča, da skozi uporabo digitalnih orodij raziskujejo, se učijo ter razvijajo različne spretnosti. Vzgojitelji pa imajo s pomočjo IKT možnost oblikovati bolj raznolike in prilagojene učne pristope. Namen dela je raziskati stališča vzgojiteljev ter staršev predšolskih otrok do uporabe IKT ter ugotoviti, kakšne kompetence imajo vzgojitelji za vključevanje IKT v svoje delo. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili pojem IKT, pri čemer je poudarek na njenem zgodovinskem razvoju, pomenu ter vlogi v sodobni družbi. Osrednji del teoretičnega dela je posvečen uporabi IKT v šolskih prostorih, zlasti v predšolski vzgoji. Predstavljene so različne oblike in možnosti uporabe IKT v vrtcih ter njen vpliv na otroka in naloge strokovnih delavcev pri seznanjanju otrok s tehnologijo. Obravnavano je vprašanje objavljanja fotografij in osebnih podatkov otrok na družbenih omrežjih. Teoretični del tako nudi celostni vpogled v priložnosti in izzive, ki jih prinaša uporaba IKT v predšolski vzgoji. Empirični del temelji na dveh raziskavah, izvedenih z anketnim vprašalnikom. Ena je bila izvedena med vzgojitelji ter druga med starši otrok v predšolskem obdobju. Raziskano je, kako vzgojitelji zaznavajo potencial IKT za izvajanje dejavnosti v vrtcu, kako zaznavajo vključenost IKT v vsakodnevne dejavnosti z otroki. Proučene so tudi kompetence vzgojiteljev za uporabo IKT – tako s strokovno-tehničnega vidika kot tudi z vidika pedagoške ustreznosti in pripravljenosti na digitalno vključevanje v delo z otroki. Prav tako je proučeno, kako starši predšolskih otrok ocenjujejo primernost uporabe IKT v predšolskem obdobju. Koristi diplomskega dela so lahko večplastne. Prinaša pomembno znanje za vzgojitelje, starše in širše vzgojno-izobraževalno okolje. Vzgojiteljem ponuja vpogled v pomen premišljene uporabe IKT in jih usmerja k oblikovanju spodbudnega digitalnega okolja, ki podpira celosten razvoj otrok. Staršem pomaga razumeti vpliv tehnologije na otroke ter jim nudi smernice za varno in uravnoteženo rabo zaslonov doma. Delo izpostavi vlogo odraslih kot vzor digitalne pismenosti, opozori na tveganja ter poudarja pomen sodelovanja med vrtcem in družino.

The diploma thesis explores the significance and use of information and communication technology (ICT) in preschool education, as it can have a considerable impact on the educational process. Through the use of digital tools, children are given the opportunity to explore, learn and develop various skills. ICT also enables preschool teachers to create more diverse and individualized teaching approaches. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the attitudes of preschool teachers and parents of preschool children toward the use of ICT into their work. The theoretical part defines the concept of ICT, with a focus on its historical development, importance, and role in modern society. The core of the theoretical part is dedicated to the use of ICT in educational settings, particularly in preschool education. Various forms and possibilities of ICT use in kindergartens are presented, along with its impact on the child and the role of professionals in introducing children to technology. The issue of publishing children's photos and personal data on social media is also addressed. The theoretical section thus provides a comprehensive overview of the opportunities and challenges brought by the use of ICT in early childhood education. The empirical part is based on two surveys conducted using questionnaires – one among preschool teachers and the other among parents of preschool children. The research examines how educators perceive the potential of ICT in implementing activities in kindergartens and how they view the integration of ICT into daily work wiht children. The competencies of prescool teachers for ICT use are analyzed – both from a technical-professional perspective and from the viewpoint of pedagogical appropriateness and readiness for digital inclusion in work with children. Furthermore, the research explores how parents assess the appropriateness of ICT use in early childhood and analyzes their views on its impact on children. The benefits of the thesis are manifold. It provides valuable insights for educators, parents, and the broader educational community. It offers educators a better understanding of the thoughtful use of ICT and guides them in creating a stimulating digital environment that supports children's holistic development. For parents, it helps to understanf the influence of technology on children and offers guidelines for safe and balanced screen use at home. The thesis highlights the role of adults as models of digital literacy, warns of potential risks, and emphasizes the importance of cooperation between preschool instititions and families. |
