| Sekundarni povzetek: | The main objective of the diploma thesis was numerical modeling of a high-speed outer rotor electric motor with permanent magnets. The purpose was to gain insight into the motor's operation and behavior at various operating points. Within the first part of the thesis a review of the existing literature dealing with the electric motors with permanent magnets was done. In the main part of the thesis, a 2D finite element based numerical model of a high-speed outer rotor electric motor with permanent magnets was built. The design of the model and all numerical simulations were carried out using the Altair Flux software package. Emphasis was placed on the design of a high-speed outer rotor electric motor with permanent magnets achieving a rotational speed of 15000 rpm and a torque of approximately 0,5 Nm. Finally, the experimental measurements on a real electric motor were performed and compared to the numerical simulations. |
