Sekundarni povzetek: The theme of my diploma titled “Environment and the integrated curriculum in the third grade of primary school” is the presentation of interdisciplinary integration of environment in the third grade of primary school in theory and practice. Interdisciplinary integration targets at integrated knowledge and thus the aims within different subjects and also within one. It is adapted to pupils way of thinking, so they perceive the knowledge holistically. The theoretical section offers the reflecting and definitions of theorists, the role of pupils and the teacher in interdisciplinary integration and the basic division of interdisciplinary teaching. I also present the goals of individual subjects, which allow the interdisciplinary integration between subjects. In the practical part I introduce the project work based on the theme of professions and institutions. The project work shows the effectiveness of interdisciplinary integration in relation to a specific theme. My diploma is based on bringing the theory into practice. The practical part is based on theory and the results in practice confirm the hypothesis of the research.

Povzetek (ePrints): Predmet diplomskega dela z naslovom Medpredmetno povezovanje predmeta spoznavanja okolja z drugimi predmeti v 3. razredu osnovne šole je predstavitev medpredmetnega povezovanja predmeta spoznavanja okolja v teoriji in praksi. Medpredmetno povezovanje je povezovanje znanj in ciljev znotraj enega ali več predmetov. Prilagojeno je učencem, saj tako dojemajo znanje celostno. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljena razmišljanja in opredelitve teoretikov, vloga učenca in učitelja v medpredmetnem povezovanju ter splošne delitve medpredmetnega povezovanja. Predstavljeni so tudi cilji posameznih predmetov v 3. razredu, ki omogočajo medpredmetne povezave z drugimi predmeti. V praktičnem delu je predstavljen projektni teden na temo poklici in ustanove. Le-ta predstavlja vpogled v uspešnost medpredmetnega povezovanja ene teme. Diplomsko delo predstavlja povezovanje teorije s prakso. Praktično delo je zasnovano na teoretičnih temeljih, njegovi rezultati pa skupaj s teorijo potrjujejo raziskovalne hipoteze.
