Sekundarni povzetek: The child should have to learn in pre-school age how to (and he able) exploit his own ability, to find his own rhythm in sharing games and work, dynamic and seriousness, concentration and relaxation (Uranjek, 1995). Considers as one of the many who work with children, the main objective is to make kindergarten institution, to which children will love to come and there is also feeling good. For this reason, I am in my thesis studied the problem of sleeping in the nursery (kindergarten). In this challenge we have entertained and also learn a lot with the children, which has enabled us project work in active learning by the method of research. Similarly, this work gives children all the possibilities for their own activity in all stages of work and maintain the sustainability of experience and knowledge. I begin on the preschool daily routine-rest, which is very unpopular among children because of coercion and quiet sleep. Together with the children I have tried to explore the importance of sleep and on the basis of knowledge change in pre-school holiday enjoyable part of daily routine. With children, we find some interesting solutions that have been very enthusiastic and cheering, but unfortunately for those changes have not decided even teachers.It mainly shows that about a lot of action, evidence of words and persuasion, it is necessary to work in pre-school to introduce change for the benefit of children.

Povzetek (ePrints): Otrok naj bi se že v predšolskem obdobju naučil, kako lahko (in tudi zmore) izrabljati svoje zmožnosti, da bo sam znal najti svoj lastni ritem pri izmenjavi igre in dela, razgibanosti in resnosti, zbranosti in sproščenosti ( Uranjek, 1995). Cilj mnogih, ki delamo z otroki, je prispevati, da bi bil vrtec ustanova, kamor bi otroci radi prihajali in se tam tudi dobro počutili. Zaradi tega sem v svoji diplomski nalogi proučevala problematiko spanja v vrtcu. Pri tem izzivu smo se skupaj z otroki zabavali in tudi veliko naučili, kar nam je omogočalo projektno delo "Aktivno učenje z metodo raziskovanja". Takšno delo daje otrokom možnosti za aktivnost v vseh fazah pedagoškega dela in ohranja trajnost pridobljenih izkušenj in znanj. Lotila sem se spreminjanja vrtčevske vsakodnevne rutine – počitka oziroma spanja, ki je med otroki zelo nepriljubljen zaradi prisile mirovanja in tišine. Skupaj z otroki sem skušala raziskati pomen spanja in na osnovi spoznanj spremeniti vrtčevski počitek v prijetnejši del dnevne rutine. Z otroki smo našli zanimive rešitve, ki so jih zelo navdušile in razveseljevale, žal pa se za takšne spremembe kasneje niso odločile njihove vzgojiteljice. To predvsem dokazuje, da bo potrebnih še veliko dejanj, dokazovanj in prepričevanj, da je potrebno na področju vrtčevskega dela uvajati spremembe v korist otrok.
