Reflectance spectra of the species Sagittaria sagittifolia |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The measurements of reflectance were performed on submersed, natant and terrestrial leaves of species Sagittaria sagittifolia. Reflectance was measured within the range of 280 – 800 nm. Specific leaf area, leaf structure, stomata length and density, amount of pigments and UV-absorbing compounds were also determined. The goal was to examine variability of reflectance spectra and to investigate the impact of leaf morphological and biochemical parameters on reflectance. The results showed that Sagittaria sagittifolia leaves were statistically different in both types of parameters. That resulted in reflectance spectra, namely the most similar were spectra in visible region, where reflectance is primarily controlled by leaf pigments. Leaf reflectance spectra differed more in UV and NIR (700 – 800 nm) regions, which are probably the result of anatomical, morphological and some biochemical variability. The biggest difference was observed between submerged and natan leaves. Natan leaves had higher reflectance in UV region and also in the green region of the optical spectrum than submerged and terrestrial leaves. Terrestrial leaves had the highest and submerged leaves lowest reflectance in NIR region, which was probably the result of different leaf anatomy. |
