Sekundarni jezik: Angleški jezik
Sekundarni naslov: Nonlinear analysis of two-layer timber beams
Sekundarni povzetek: The analysis of effect of contact compliance on a stress-strain state of a two layer timber beams is the main scope of the presented work. First, the simplified procedure according to SIST EN 1995-1-1 standard is applied. Second, an advanced and more accurate non-linear analysis based on the finite element method is considered. There are some extra advantages of using the second method. Besides the elementary results – strain and stress state of a beam, we can also directly calculate slip and uplift at the contact of a timber beam. The parametric study revealed that a simplified procedure is suitable for the analysis of a simply supported beam. A simplified analysis of continuous beam over two fields is not accurate enough because there is a noticeable difference in results according to non-linear analysis.
