Sekundarni povzetek:	Youth unemployment is becoming a major social problem, which is associated with the question of perspective of young generation, which will subsequently bore the burden of social development. For young people there are few employment opportunities on the labour market. The thesis deals with the specific situation of young people (especially young women and young people with lower education) on the labour market in Slovenia and on the labour market in Koroška region, as evidenced by the data of traditionally higher youth unemployment rates than the average for the entire population. The theoretical part presents the factors that affect the status of youth on the general market, particularly on the labour market in Koroška region. In addition to the causes of youth unemployment, are also described the effects of unemployment on young people and their coping strategies with the situation of unemployment. In this context, it represents an aspect of social exclusion and draws attention to the role and place of social pedagogy in this area. The empirical part presents qualitative research, which aimed to explore how the unemployment affects other spheres of life of young long-term unemployed in the Koroška region, and also how they cope with the experience of long-term unemployment. And yet, how they understand their current life situation and think about their own future. As found, the fundamental problem of the young unemployed in the region, is that on the labour market there are no new employments. Therefore they see underground economy as a solution and alternative to regular employment.

Povzetek (ePrints):	Brezposelnost mladih postaja vedno večji družbeni problem, povezan s vprašanjem perspektiv mlade generacije, ki bo v naslednjih letih nosila breme družbenega razvoja. Za mlade je na trgu dela malo zaposlitvenih možnosti. Diplomska naloga se ukvarja s specifičnim položajem mladih (predvsem mladih žensk ter mladih z nižjo izobrazbo) na trgu dela v Sloveniji in na trgu dela v koroški regiji, o čemer pričajo tudi podatki o že tradicionalno višji brezposelnosti mladih od povprečja za celotno populacijo. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni dejavniki, ki vplivajo na položaj mladih na trgu dela, posebej na trgu dela v koroški regiji. Poleg vzrokov za brezposelnost mladih so opisane tudi posledice brezposelnosti za mlade in njihove strategije spoprijemanja s situacijo brezposelnosti. V tem kontekstu je predstavljen vidik socialne izključenosti ter vloga in prostor socialne pedagogike na tem področju. Empirični del predstavlja kvalitativno raziskavo, katere namen je bil raziskati, če in kako se brezposelnost povezuje z ostalimi sferami življenj mladih dolgotrajno brezposelnih v koroški regiji ter kako se le-ti spoprijemajo z izkušnjo dolgotrajne brezposelnosti. In še, kako razumejo svoj trenuten življenjski položaj ter kako razmišljajo o lastni prihodnosti. Kot ugotovljeno, je brezposelnost zaradi zaustavljenega zaposlovanja največja težava mladih na trgu dela v regiji. Tudi zato v delu na črno vidijo rešitev in alternativo redni zaposlitvi.
