Sekundarni povzetek:	The diploma discusses comics as a medium. It contains short overview of it’s history, from first beginnings as a visual narrative, to print in Europe and beginnings of comics as we know today. Also the history of comics in Slovenia, it’s beginnings and some significant authors. Next it lists and describes the elements of the language of comics, its properties and uniqnes of comics expression, and it’s place in the age of mass media. In author’s part it talks about the process of making a comic from the initial idea, character design, placement of pannels, to finalisation of a comic to it’s finished apperance, and influences of other authors on personal style. The pedagogical part includes the lesson plan and analysis of the lesson as well as the art works of students in 7th grade primary school.

Povzetek (ePrints):	Diplomsko delo obravnava strip kot medij. Vsebuje kratek pregled njegove zgodovine od prvih zametkov vizualne pripovedi, do pojava tiska v Evropi in začetkov stripa, kot ga poznamo danes. Ter tudi zgodovino slovenskega stripa, njegove začetke in pomembnejše avtorje pri nas. V nadaljevanju našteje in opiše elemente stripovske govorice, njegove lastnosti in posebnosti stripovskega izraza; opiše tudi njegovo mesto v dobi množičnih medijev. V avtorskem delu navaja postopek izdelave lastnega stripa od začetne ideje, oblikovanja likov, postavitve kadrov do izvedbe stripa v njegovi končni podobi ter vplive drugih avtorjev na osebni stil. Pedagoški del vključuje učno pripravo ter analizo učne ure in izdelkov učencev 7. razreda osnovne šole.
