Sekundarni povzetek:	The thesis deals with the outline scheme of the local route Rožna Dolina–Nova Gorica and discusses its location in the space. The main aim of constructing this route is to enable a faster and safer access to the western part of Nova Gorica. In addition, the route would reduce the traffic on the overburdened Vojkova Road (Vojkova cesta) and in this way increase traffic safety on the so-called eastern part of Nova Gorica. Several variants of route lines are analyzed. Possible technical solutions for connecting the new route line to the existent road network, pedestrians and cyclists paths in the area of new crossroads and the connection of the surrounding roads to the new route line are also included in the thesis. In order to provide the study, geodetic bases in digital form, the computer program PLATEIA and the program for crossroads analysis SIDRA INTERSECTION were used. The study shows that the location of the route in the environment and its connection to the existent road network are technically realisable. Several variants of pedestrians and cyclists paths in the area of new crossroads, as well as many different ways of connecting the surroundings to the new route are possible. Each individual variant is also given its estimated investment value, which will be, together with drainage and geomechanics, the decisive factor in the selection. Other parameters which are normally valued are not decisive in this case (influence on the environment, indicators of traffic fluency, influence on the development and others).

Povzetek (ePrints):	Diplomska naloga obsega idejno zasnovo za umestitev lokalne ceste Rožna Dolina–Nova Gorica v prostor. Glavni namen izgradnje te ceste je, da bi omogočili hitrejši in varnejši dostop v zahodni del Nove Gorice. Poleg tega bi cesta razbremenila prometno preobremenjeno Vojkovo cesto, in tako povečala prometno varnost na t. i. vzhodnem delu Nove Gorice. Analiziranih je več variant tras te povezave. Zajete so tudi možne tehnične rešitve priključitve nove trase na obstoječe cestno omrežje, vodenja pešcev in kolesarjev v območju novih križišč ter navezava okoliških cest na novo traso. Za izdelavo študije so bile uporabljene geodetske podloge v elektronski obliki, računalniški program PLATEIA in program za analizo križišč SIDRA INTERSECTION. Analiza pokaže, da sta umestitev trase v okolje in navezava le-te na obstoječe cestno omrežje tehnično izvedljivi. Mogočih je več variant vodenja kolesarjev in pešcev v območju novih križišč ter več različnih načinov navezovanja okoliškega okraja na novo cesto. Za posamezno varianto smo ocenili tudi njeno investicijsko vrednost, ki bo poleg odvodnjavanja in geomehanike odločilen faktor za izbor. Ostali parametri, ki jih običajno vrednotimo, v tem primeru niso odločujoči (vpliv na okolje, indikatorji uspešnosti prometa, vpliv na razvoj …).
