Sekundarni povzetek: Planning and traffic management is becoming more and more important, that is why the basics of transport planning are presented. At the same time is also ongoing development of tools for predicting, managing and simulating traffic. There is a lot of software packages, so we are often confronted with a choice of which software package would be appropriate to address our project, while it is also affordable, identifiable, clear-to-use. In this work are also presented different groups of software tools. The purpose of the present work is to analyze the functioning of the software interface for data exchange between the two models, which deal with traffic at different levels: macroscopic and microscopic.

Povzetek (ePrints): Planiranje in upravljanje prometa dobiva vse večji pomen, zato so predstavljene osnovne prometnega planiranja. Sočasno se razvijajo orodja za napoved, upravljanje in simuliranje prometa. Na voljo je mnogo programskih paketov, tako smo mnogokrat postavljeni pred izbiro, za kateri programski paket bi se odločili, da bo ustrezen za reševanje naše naloge, hkrati pa tudi cenovno sprejemljiv, razpoznaven, uporabniku enostaven za uporabo. V nalogi so predstavljene različne skupine programskih orodij. Namen naloge je analizirati delovanje programskega vmesnika za izmenjavo podatkov med dvema modeloma, ki promet obravnavata na različnih nivojih – makroskopskem in mikroskopskem.
