Sekundarni povzetek: The purpose of my graduation thesis is to draw parallels between the Slovene and the Spanish lessons of literature in the first triad and in the second triad of primary school education. In the first chapter a comparison between the Spanish and the Slovene education system is shortly presented. The number of lessons of the Slovene language per week is quite comparable to the number of lessons of the Spanish language in Spain. The number of lessons per week changes not sooner than in Grade 3 when there are seven lessons of a mother tongue in Slovenia, whereas there are just five of them in Spain. Later on, I presented the history of literature in Slovenia and in Spain and I found out that we can be really proud on the earliest known Slovene documents which reach back to the 11th century. Namely, the Spanish literature is rich with a greater series of words and makes a part of the central literature. When comparing the curricula I focused mainly on the comparison between general and specific learning objectives. Despite the extensiveness of the Slovene curriculum, in comparison to the Spanish one, parts of the Slovene one can be seen in nearly all segments of the Spanish curriculum, but the objective are not specifically defined. I can say that there are a lot of projects for encouraging reading in the first and second cycle of primary school education in both countries. According to the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS), in the past years the Slovene pupils get slightly better results than the Spanish ones. However, different organisations and primary schools try hard to close reading to all age groups. In my graduation thesis I shortly presented few Slovene and Spanish authors of youth literature. I chose the ones who were known for their works or are in my opinion likable to read by primary school children.

Povzetek (ePrints): Namen diplomske naloge je potegniti vzporednice med slovenskim in španskim književnim poukom v 1. in 2. triletju osnovne šole. V prvem poglavju sem na kratko predstavila španski šolski sistem, katerega sem primerjala z našim sistemom. Število ur slovenskega jezika na teden v slovenskih osnovnih šolah je zelo primerljivo s številom španskega jezika v Španiji. Do spremembe po številu ur na teden pride šele v 3. razredu, kjer imajo učenci v Sloveniji 7 ur maternega jezika, v Španiji pa je teh ur le 5. Predstavila sem tudi zgodovino književnosti pri nas in v Španiji ter ugotovila, da smo lahko zelo ponosni, ker prvi ohranjeni zapisi v slovenskem jeziku segajo v 11. stoletje. Španska književnost je sicer bogatejša, ima večji nabor besedil in spada med osrednje književnosti. Ob primerjavi učnih načrtov sem se osredotočila predvsem na primerjavo splošnih in operativnih ciljev. Glede na to, da je slovenski učni načrt, ki sem ga primerjala s španskim, obsežnejši, je v skoraj vseh odsekih španskega čutiti del slovenskega, le da cilji niso tako natančno opredeljeni. Lahko rečem, da je projektov za spodbujanje branja v 1. in 2. triletju osnovne šole v obeh državah precej. Španski učenci so sicer v mednarodni raziskavi bralne pismenosti PIRLS v zadnjih letih dosegali nekoliko slabše rezultate od slovenskih. Različne organizacije in osnovne šole se kljub temu trudijo, da bi branje približali vsem starostnim skupinam. V diplomskem delu sem na kratko predstavila nekaj slovenskih in španskih avtorjev mladinske literature. Izbrala sem tiste, ki so znani bodisi zaradi svojih del, ali pa jih po mojem mnenju radi prebirajo osnovnošolski otroci.
